social media/tiktok au where Chrissy makes asmr cleaning videos that are super popular because her apartment is full of pink and stuffed animals (think miffy/hello kitty/ beanie babies). everyone always comments things like 'coquette queen' and 'ideal life' because her aesthetic is 'perfect'.

slowly, people notice that some things in Chrissy's apartment are changing (a different color set of towels, a spooky bat stuffed animal when its NOT halloween, guitar picks that she'll gather into a ashtray, weird black/metal utensils that oddly match up with Chrissy's pink/white ones??) her viewers comment non-stop "whose are those?', "are you having a mental breakdown?', "boyfriend???"

one video EXPLODES because this random guy is there while Chrissy's cleaning? he's playing a guitar and following her around like some stray dog and everyone is just like??? 'weirdo'

BUT one sharp-eyed viewer spots that this guy is wearing some handmade band shirt and they're like 'guys i think that's Eddie Munson? guitarist for corroded coffin??? my brother is a huge fan and when i showed him this video he said that's the same guitar he plays soooo'

comment chains upon comment chains with videos and pictures of Eddie trying to compare him to the guy in the video. people try to tag him to no avail and then Chrissy pins a single comment that says 'cute 🦇🎀'

Chrissy's next video she has her usual asmr soundbites but adds one of corroded coffin's songs at the end

Chrissy rode her bike all the way to Forest Hills after her and her mom got into a big fight. She was in tears on the way over, the sleeves of her cheer jacket no longer had any more dry spots to wipe her face. Eddie went straight to the door the moment he heard frantic knocking. Without delay, his arms immediately wrapped around Chrissy. Gently rocking her as his hand slowly circled her back.

She wept into his band shirt, her heart heavy with woe. Chrissy tried to tell him what horrendous things her mom said to her, but it was too hurtful to repeat back. Eddie reassured her that she was safe here, that she could take all the time in the world to tell him about the fight. For now, all she wanted was to be held. He cradled her and kissed her forehead.

Eddie always promised to offer his home to her. For Chrissy, home meant being with him.

i kinda want to write a fic someday where eddie and chrissy smoke weed together instead of doing ket. however in her fragile mental state chrissy immediately greens out hard. eddie feeling extremely guilty about it is left desperately trying to look after a greened out chrissy. whos having a panic attack, vomiting, crazy anxiety/paranoia, disorientated, hallucinating, ect.

however being looked after so dutifully by eddie, a boy she barely knows means a lot to chrissy. and after maybe an hour or two she stops greening out and actually starts to enjoy the high since she feels really safe around eddie. plus it felt so good to let out all the emotions that had been building up inside.

although eddie is left kinda freaked out and feeling like a total arsehole for getting her too high

This was done in movies in order to teach audiences a “moral lesson.” Since the unmarried couple had sex outside of marriage, “divine punishment” rears its ugly head in and so they have to be punished because of their “moral failure.” Whereas the Final Girl (who abstains from drinking, smoking, and/or having sex) gets to live and ends up defeating the monster. Because she remained “pure,” she is seen as a character with “good morals.”

This au, while humorous, can be a great way to juxtapose the “sex equals death” trope associated with horror.

this is actually driving me crazy cause like it's his dad? it's his dad. he's mimicking his dad on every level to pick up chicks and it works and it makes him want to die. he's teaching spoiled little girls who have never wanted for anything in their entire lives how to shoplift and hotwire cars and break and enter without getting caught and he's doing it all with al munson's winning smile and surface level detachment because it's the only way they'll let him put his hands and his lips on them, and they'll hold onto him for a while like he really matters. and then it's over and the high wears off and the self-loathing floods back in, and even though he wants to die, he knows he'll do it all over again the first chance he gets.
