i think we're all aware how satosugu and itafushi are parallels, but i think the way they contrast the other ship is also interesting like:

itafushi where communication is key, vs satosugu who hides how they're feeling

itafushi where they share the blame, vs satosugu who takes the blame alone

itafushi who have differences in their beliefs but doesn't see their own as the only right one, vs satosugu who bicker because of said differences

itafushi where megumi acknowledges their limitations by acknowledging they're just jujutsu sorcerers and not heroes fighting for justice, vs satosugu where suguru wants to create a world he believes in by killing all non sorcerers because it's what he believes is just.

itafushi where yuji refuses to return to jujutsu high but megumi asked him for his help so he stayed, vs satosugu where suguru leaves but satoru didn't even try or say anything to make suguru stay

itafushi whose relationship started from saving each other (and still continue to do so), vs satosugu whose relationship ended with one killing the other because they failed to save each other

and yet, as much of a difference they have with the other, they still face the same tragic ending: with one of them dying (presumably if itadori's execution still happens)

where satosugu lacked, itafushi prospered. where satosugu failed, itafushi succeeded.
