I heard sirens in my head from the first time that we met. Thought it was a false alarm. Yeah, we started as a spark didn't think we'd come this far.

“Excuse me,” she spoke out, calling the attention of the first person she saw. “I’m sorry to be such a bother but I’m horribly lost. Where is this? And how do I get to the nearest airport?” She was anxious to get home. Between a son who had gone missing and an entire country to run, finding herself in the middle of nowhere was only the cherry on top. But she maintained a composed nature and smiled.

At first Dani was a bit unsure if the woman was addressing her or not, looking around to make sure there wasn’t anyone else around. It seemed like she was the only one in sight, which might have been unfortunate for the other considering she was just as lost and confused as the other. “I’m actually wondering the same thing… I just randomly arrived here and so far answers are hard to find around here. But, I need to find a way home as soon as possible.”

Where had that stupid cat gone to? “Winifred!” Dani called out, making small clicking noises to hopefully coax the cat out of hiding. It was almost ironic that after naming her cat after one of the Sanderson sisters, the cat took on a personality that was almost as frustrating as the witch herself. A sigh of exasperation fell from the redhead’s lips as she continued searching high and low, her gaze settling on an man a few feet away. “Hey! Have you seen a brown and white cat around here?”

Candy, it had always been her weakness… so Halloween and Dani was always an interesting combination. She was already finished with her first bag of assorted candy and was starting to dig into another. She began unwrapping her first piece before noticing that someone’s eyes were locked on her. “Oh… um, do you want some? This is a one time offer, if you say no there’s no take backs.” Sharing wasn’t exactly one of her strong suits, but in the back of her mind she heard her mother’s voice nagging her to be more polite.
