I have to make it known, I have been long thinking and have ultimately decided to close Revel Detroit and I am no longer taking commissions for the remainder of 2020. I will be honoring all my existing contracts but taking on nothing new until the new year It was a really hard call but I have had a personally rough few months; battling a divorce, starting a new job, and trying to make "our place" my own... and I've realized this is a time I need to focus on myself and my own art. Crash tree! I did the Kalkaska North loop today with my step-dad. Weaving through trees and battling sand is one of the hardest and personally most satisfying ways to ride... I did have to sign the crash tree today, but I don't have any wounds prove it... I rode this same loop 18 years ago, when it was all virgin trail... it was one of the most physically demanding things I've ever done....
