Went to a pride event today :D

#it was very fun #it was nice to see other queer people in such an open and visible way #there was even a church choir out signing (in a supportive way!!) which was really sweet… it very nearly made me cry lol #it was really sweet #I was nervous about counter protestors but there weren’t any!#lots of good signs as well #I think my fav was ‘Butch by birth. Trans by the grace of God.’#I would share photos but I will doxx myself 💀#personal

Based on your blog, I assume that you like melancholy in many sense of the word :)

Melancholy is a pensive sadness, often coming out of nowhere/with no obvious cause... and yeah :/. I don't necessarily like it, but there can be something beautiful to it. It can make one appreciate people and the world a bit more, but too much can sour and become an even worse depression lol.

I like to be informed about the world, especially because we seem to have a new pm every week in the uk XD. However, I don't study politics, I study sociology! There are quite a few overlaps in the subjects though (shout out Karl Marx and Max Weber) (probably others as well lol, but those are the ones that come to mind immediately.)
