Current TV Watch - The Big C (2010).

This is the first TV show I have ever watched where adult siblings actually act like adult siblings. Usually sibling relationships are either too sweet, or too drama filled to be believed.

Conviction

So, continuing on with my Hayley Atwell watch-a-thon, I both began and finished Conviction within a day. Why do they keep ending her shows on cliff-hangers? Also, Eddie Cahill was a pleasant bonus.

The show was a bit cheesy at times with some of the lines, and several of the episodes I could guess the ending, but It was still better than some of the crap they have on tv now. Her parents characters however were really well written though. Kudos there.

Finished Agent Carter

Firstly. I loved it and am so pissed they cancelled it. The writing, the characters, the actors and that navy dress with the aqua trim was perfect. This was such a well rounded and cast show.

Secondly. I really wish the Endgame ending didn’t happen. I think Souza was worthy enough for Peggy.

Thirdly. How dare they end the season on a cliffhanger! Who killed Thompson. Didn’t even like the guy - but I’ll never know who killed the guy, or what the little pin keys were for. Screw you Marvel. Agent Carter deserved a better ending than this.

Bonus - Peggy Carter is my new favourite Marvel Character. I mean, I liked her enough before, but truthfully there hadn’t been enough screen time to round her character out more. Agent Carter gave us that at least.

Agent Carter

So I’ve continued on with the rest of the first season. I understand why it was cancelled. It does get a bit tedious at times, but the writing is terrific.

Last episode I watched had a Stan Lee cameo in it. Didn’t think I’d see anymore of those after Endgame. So that was kind of cool.

Also is Dottie a Widow? She moves and lands like Natasha in Winter Soldier. Hmm ...

AGENT CARTER

I have no idea why I’ve put off watching this for so long. Probably because I didn’t particularly like Captain America: The First Avenger very much, but I wish I had watched it earlier.

Only on the first episode and I knew Peggy Carter was a badass, but she kicked some guys ass with a stapler so you know - that was kind of awesome.

Also she did it wearing high heels and a dress. I love her!

My idea for the next Spider-Man movie–  Spider-Man: Stay at home. The whole things is 2+ hours of Peter Parker living a normal life being happy, safe and hanging out with his friends. No monsters or bad guys in sight, just Peter doing homework and being a soft nephew with Aunt May.

So, it finally happened

I finally convinced my Harry Potter avoiding mother to read Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone for the first time last night.

The Biggest Flaw in Harry Potter

So I was having a Harry Potter marathon, as I do every year on July 31st, and a thought occurred to me.

If Lucius Malfoy hadn’t given Ginny Weasley Tom Riddle’s Diary, Voldemort would probably still be alive. I mean, Harry wouldn’t have went looking for a diary - because quite frankly he’s an idiot, and would’ve been dead or expelled in book one if not for his friends.

Also, why did Ginny let Harry name their kids? I mean all three were named after people Harry admired. Come on?
