Spawn is very underwhelming, I'll be honest. However if you move towards the ocean, it gets better. A village with a brewing stand, small ruin in the ocean, and a flower meadow. The red circle is the cherry blossoms, I spawn with a map because I have no sense of direction. Player icon is around where you spawn.

The Cherry Blossom biom. Coordinates: 832, 87, 237. It's across from a second larger villiage surrounded with sunflowers, and has a ruin neither portal next it in a river(?) You have to cross through a flower meadow to reach this area. There's a plains biom next to it, so I'd say a great world for building.

Pep is a sweet and goofy not-quite-person, with a curious mind and a heart of gold. He likes to see the best in others and help out, but sometimes he gets caught up in his anxieties, and becomes avoidant and skittish.

Pep can only speak backwards, but he can repeat phrases he's heard to 'speak' forwards.

Pep is not very aggressive, but will become violent if provoked, or if he feels that his friends are being threatened or in danger.

When meeting another Clone, Pep will observe them and try to match their energy; Playful if the clone is excited, Calm if the clone is frightened etc

Pep is the 'Fake Peppino' that Peppino fought in the tower, and then rescued as the tower fell. Being created in the tower, Pep did not have anywhere to go, and he ended up living behind Peppino's Pizzeria, sleeping in a box and eating from the dumpster for about a month.

Pep found a mysterious device that speaks to him, often asking questions and able to summon items for him. This 'box of a thousand voices' gave Pep the confidence to talk to Peppino, who he had not seen since fighting on the top of the tower, and had been avoiding as he was scared of fighting again, or worse.

Peppino has allowed Pep to stay with him for a while, until he finds a place of his own. Pep is also helping out in the pizzeria, with his new friends.

Being a clone, Pep was spliced with several types of DNA, giving him some interesting traits and abilities. He appears to be living pizza dough, warm, squishy to the touch and much lighter than expected, but he is able to change his form, becoming more liquid and sticky or more solid, but he is almost always 'dripping' in some way, usually on his arms, neck, cheeks and chin.

Pep will become more 'melty' and his form becomes more unstable when he is anxious or upset, while becoming angry or being frightened causes him to fluff up much like a cat.

Pep's 'clothes' are not actually clothes, and are not removable, but he is able to shift his form around, making it appear that he is wearing something else, or even appearing as someone else. Pep cannot hold more complex forms for too long, though, often needing to eat and rest a lot during and afterwards.

Since they are an extension of himself, Pep is able to use his apron ribbons as extra limbs, with each ribbon able to lift and carry about 50 pounds (22KG). The bow and ribbons of his apron are often an indicator of Pep's mood, akin to a dog's tail; Wagging when he is happy, tucked under himself or wrapped around something when nervous etc

Pep's tongue is long and prehensile, often using it to grab food or as an extra limb. Due to the length, Pep often leaves it hanging out of his mouth, but this also has another purpose; Pep is able to 'taste' the emotions of others around him. It is usually very faint, and he usually doesn't notice it, but the strong the emotion, the stronger the taste.

Pep does not produce any bodily fluids, his body instead 'melting' in the spots where it should be; Eyes 'melt' instead of producing tears, Tongue and Mouth 'melt' instead of drooling etc. Pep does not have blood, nor bones (besides teeth), but he is able to solidify parts of himself to give the illusion of bones.

Pep is able to digest most materials, and not get sick from old food, but he does prefer fresh food, especially sweets and pizza, of course! He frequently 'eats' inedible items, storing them inside himself in like a bird's crop, and then which he can regurgitate back up.

Pep adores affection, and enjoys being in close contact with those he trusts. His favourite forms of affections are head pats, chin scratches, hand holding (or ribbon holding), belly rubs, grooming/licking others, being laid on/laying on others and cuddles. Pep purrs very loudly and makes other happy vocalisations when he is giving or receiving any of these.

Pep also shows his happiness in various stims, such as hand flapping, bouncing, shaking, running in circles or just as fast as he can in general, wrapping his arms around himself and squeezing, or shifting his form rapidly for a short time. He does also have some negative stims, such as banging on things until his hands are bleeding oozing, digging his nails into his skin, picking at the more solid parts of his body or biting himself, causing parts to come off.

In very rare moments of stress or exhaustion, Pep will take on a very small form - affectionately referred to as 'Sopping Wet Creature'. In this form, Pep is only able to form from the waist up and is unable to speak. He is even more so easily overwhelmed in his form, so he hides until the stress source is gone, or he is able to get the rest he needs.

On the flip side, when enraged and after a??orb??? a ?a?? ?? c??n??, Pep grows into a monstrous version of himself - referred to as the 'Chase' form - determined to chase down and eliminate the cause of his wrath. While is it very difficult, Pep can be placated while in this form, but no one has figured it out yet.

Upper right is Guppy in his "nest". And by nest I mean a pile of soft objects he obtained by various means. It's some old pipe room, one that isn't or wasn't very important. Perfect safety place.

Then there's a bit of fan art of @biggrumbus Jazzinos. They are great friend shaped creatures.

Guppy's love of soft items gets him in a bit of trouble when he swipes a Jazzinos lovely tie! To be fair, he didn't purposely steal it. It was just....there. and no one was around. This doesn't impress big ol Beelzebino. I honestly don't know how or if Beelzebino would react. But I like to imagine him like that grumpy old man who refuses to admit he cares, but everyone knows he does. Don't worry, the Jazzino got his tie back.

The last panel...thing is Guppy being....Guppy. Only reason Peppino wasn't raging mad is because that wasn't his phone. And yes, he proceeded to eat it. His intelligence is ... questionable.

Can we talk about the unique experience of genuinely not knowing what haircuts to even consider when you’re black??? Because like… “short hair” happens with both black men and black women, bald/shaved happens with both, long happens with both, braids and locs happen with both, afros happen with both

It took me forever to figure out that I can do all of the variations I’d been doing, just that the unique styling is different on these gender lines.

As a Black trans man who wants a hair cut really bad, it’s hard for me to even visualize a buzz cut on a Black person. Like I see so many posts helping trans men out with how they would look if they got a hair cut, but pretty much all of them have white people as examples. Trans men of color are THAT invisible to the point to were I’ve convinced myself that I wouldn’t look good with short hair.

Sure, I can look up pics of Black men with a buzz cut but 99.9% of them are gonna be cis Black men, folks I look nothing like. And if I add in trans, I’m scared that instead of getting articles about hair cuts, I’m gonna articles about violence we’ve faced over these past few years.

I wanna see sites and articles discussing Black hair and styles for Black trans people. If there’s a site for it, I’d like to know dearly and I want that shit to be boosted to high hell because resources for Black hair, let alone for Black trans people aren’t really around. Especially when it comes to Black folks with 4c hair, like myself.

At the end of the day, no Black trans men or Black trans person in general should be convincing themselves that they’d look ugly with shorter or longer hair, just because they can’t seem themselves being represented anywhere. It shouldn’t get to that point. Ever.

You’re right, even trying to google black trans masc hairstyles mostly just gets you white people with white people hair. Yeah sorry that’s literally not possible with my hair texture.

I’ve sort of had to… make things up as I go along. Like you, I was told repeatedly that my hair texture does not look good when cut short. It took me a very long time to want to try a shorter style as a result. It took me even longer to say fuck it, big chop, and shave my head bald. There. Starting fresh.

What I’ve found has been working for me is to first figure out what hair texture you have. I find just googling “black male hairstyle” will get you mostly 4c hair which is great for those who have it and the facial structure to match! And less great for those who don’t! With me having 3b/3c hair, I was able to find a number of short styles on a wide variety of faces and thus was able to figure out what worked best for how I like to look. And it did take some experimentation and trust, but it ultimately made me really appreciate taking the time to actually do my hair rather than feeling like it was this massive chore.

Once you find your hair texture, you need to do two things:

Figure out what hairstyles you like best with your hair texture. Avoid gendered terms if you can. If you want a short style, look for short styles. If you want a long style, look for long styles. BLACK MEN CAN AND DO WEAR THEIR HAIR LONG frequently as an afro, braids, or locs. It’s up to you to then decide if that long look is something you’re interested in, and how to masculinize it if so. Personally, I prefer the ever popular shaved sides look, and eventually will be getting braids or locs with the length on the top depending if my 3b/3c hair will actually cooperate with locs. I did the fro look for a while and I’ve had cornrows but for the most part I put some product in it and wear my natural curls that way. Protective styling is a big big thing with black men even though it’s mostly only spoken about in the context of female styles. I had a really long conversation with a black coworker about protective styles and how he chooses to do his hair, which is actually longer than mine.

And, figure out the best care for your hair texture. For me, I have a rotating schedule of oil to rub into my scalp and shea butter pomade to style with when wearing my hair natural. All those selfies of mine, if my hair is free, it’s got one of the two in it. I got a lot better about protecting my hair at night, using a leave-in overnight and the day after wash day. Being consistent on the timing of wash day. I use black owned shampoo and conditioner in my hair made specifically for black men. I use a durag and a sport cap to protect my hair on days when its most prone to damage. My hair has never been healthier and I’ve never been happier with the way I can wear and style it.

It was a huge transition for me because I used to have waist-length hair and then shaved my head bald about a year and a half ago to start over and build a better routine than semi resentment from the ground up.

As there are a number of different styles besides just shaving your head completely bald, and depending on your comfort level, you can try out a good deal of them before making a firm decision on what exactly you want your head to look like.

You can also do like me and just walk into a barber shop and tell them that you have to play a male character for a production and you have no idea what to do with your hair and see if they’ll help you, but I recommend only doing that if you’re willing to get a “we don’t cut girl hair” while you’re trying it. I did that the first time I cut my hair short and to his credit he did cut my hair fairly short and style it well, but it was still far too feminine for me, so I explored a lot of options after that.
