Questioning my labels.... help?
(I'll probably post this and forget about it but still, figured I'd ask things)
Important Context: Gender has always confused me as for me its what you feel on the inside, not to be confused with one's sex. When people start adding things like gender roles and the like to identity itself, it feels confusing and uncomfortable as they're sort of seperate entities for me. So those being what helped make things click for people is... rough for me to understand. I am very accepting, but it confuses me deeply at times.
I am AFAB with PCOS, neurodiverent & a realtively androgenous build and I always felt female, but in the sense that a dog or cat is a female. (I'm also demiaroace) So I always considered myself cis, not here to really steal the spotlight from our trans & enby comrades and siblings. I don't really hold onto much of any of the gender roles, and it's never been strict in my mind with it. I want to be known as a woman / female human/ etc., or even someone andgrogenous, just... not mistaken for a "penis weilder," (flesh or silicone both work lol) which I have a number of times. Just... recognized as female all without... the rest of everything.
Is there anything that I can call this?
Heck I'm willing to even drop the label woman as the norms/roles/typical presentation in clothing and such with it are... not my jive most of the time. I Just want to be recognized as female. It's something that has bothered me for a while, as because of my... extremely barebones version of gender, it honestly makes it harder to have a more indepth talk about gender identity as I just kind of feel like an anomaly. 😅 So just having something to explain to someone more easily would be amazing. I know gender idenity can come in many shapes or forms so just... finding a word for it would be great. 🥰
Regardless, Happy Pride everyone~! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ Please stay safe out there!! 🥹🥰
