design limit for acnh

Hi everyone! Today I discovered that in Animal Crossing New Horizons there is a 130 design limit to the number you can have shared/posted to your creator code! And deleting a posted designs from your creator code means that the code is no longer valid. This is really really frustrating and limiting to people like me who LOVE creating and sharing designs with you all!

If you don’t mind, if you could call the @nintendo​ service line, 1(800) 255-3700, and kindly ask their customer support to log feedback about removing the limit/increasing the number you can share/ edit: or keeping codes active for designs that are removed.

Keep in mind that these people are there to help you and listen to your feedback and don’t have any control what the developers do/don’t do! Be kind and considerate!

I am calling to suggest that you remove the limit, increase the number you can share, or allow codes to stay active once they have been removed from a creators “profile” and let people post more! If you want to include an anecdote/example, I myself created over 300 unique designs in ACNL (not including multiple color versions & skintone versions). All in all I wouldn’t be surprised if I made close to 1,000 qrs.

WHAT THE WHAT IVE REACHED THE LIMIT FOR DESIGNS I CAN POST?! And if I delete ones to make room, the code doesn’t work anymore, right?!

@nintendo please please please take away the limit! This is my favorite thing to do!! This doesn’t make any sense?! I made over 200 unique designs in New Leaf (not including all the different color versions of each!) and now to have a limit is crippling! Please lift this!

I literally feel so paralyzed? I can’t post any new designs because I can’t delete old ones because then all the links of my posts will be broken? Like, okay then, I guess I’ll stop designing? NOOO.

I guess I could make a new character on my island but that feels like such a silly work around? And I’ll have to go through all the intro stuff, and they will have a different creator code and just UGH.

Anyone know how to formally submit requests to Nintendo/ AC developers?

Nintendo accepts calls at their customer service number 1 [phone] and their supervisor line 1-877-803-3676. You could try to call these lines and ask if they accept feedback/complaints that are not just about error reports and instead about features you do not enjoy. Likely they will say yes and forward the complaints and then it will be decided from there to do anything of it.

Nintendo responded to complaints about Bunny Day by drastically reducing the amount of egg spawning and from what I know personally, this was not an issue they were even called for. It was posted all over social media, I am sure they were tagged by multiple people. So you should try to get many people to tag them and post about how the limit is not good. If they can easily fix it (regarding coding and programmation), it is likely they will do so because of many people mad about it.

Characters share designs between them (edit: meaning on the phone only, different creator designs = different shared spaces for publishings) so this is not a total workaround either… it is severely limited and like Bunny Day RNG it likely might be modified with enough backlash if you can convince enough people to complain.

YES PLEASE! If you ever downloaded someone else’s design please reblog this! It’s something that can and will affect every acnh creator, and the codes you loved and saved could not be working anymore after some days, or weeks, because the original maker had to delete it :(

Nintendo customer support does take feedback but please don’t call the supervisor line for this. Tier 1 agents do the exact same thing that supervisors would do in this case and calling the supervisor line just for feedback keeps people with PPI issues and bans from getting through. Please be considerate to who you speak with as well. Nintendo customer support doesn’t have any say in what decision developers make.

Absolutely! Use absolute kindness and make sure to call the appropriate lines! Remember, the customer service agents are people and should ALWAYS be treated as such!

put together a fish guide for this month! (northern hemisphere only). i’ve seen a few different ones floating around but i decided to make my own because they didn’t have all the information i wanted or a checklist.

First it should be noted, you will almost definitely need to have terraforming unlocked to be able to do this, since I don’t think there’s a high probability of finding this layout naturally occurring on the map!

I like to imagine that Isabelle is behind everything in ACNL. Not only does she do all the mayoral things, but she sets up events and little treasures for you to find every night in order to keep you entertained. She hides exactly four fossils every night, puts money in a magic rock, and furniture in the trees, without ever asking for anything in return, because she wants you to be happy!
