My Hufflepuffs are not evil.
They can be loyal, hardworking, fair, evil... But never transphobes!
The "For the greater good" sentence is an Evil!Hufflepuff sentence.
-Me, thinking about Dark!Hufflepuffs and Yellow flowers-
Me: Ey, an evil Hufflepuff hiding their face with an evil smirk behind a bouquet of flowers...Wait...
Wait
WAIT
Hufflepuff!Chara anyone?
So evil Hufflepuffs...
The fandom doesn't recognize this topic enough so I made some memes
really proud of that last one, anyway just something to keep you guys up all night, your welcome.
Dark Hufflepuff Aesthetic
What do you hear when the mountains speak? Their voice is one that tolls lowly from the center of the earth, bellowing, bellowing, bellowing — like it intends to swallow you. Like it will eventually swallow you.
Please see captions for photo credits.
Dark Hufflepuffs must be such a conundrum. They can do some of the most horrid things, but they'll be so upfront and...respectful (?) about it? They'll say things like
"I'm about to do something to you, and it'll hurt, so please brace yourself."
"I know you won't like what I'm about to do, but I promise you'll feel better later."
"I really didn't want to do this...I gave you so many chances to avoid this, but now I'm running out of time."
"Now that wasn't so hard was it? Oh, look at you. You're exhausted. I'll send you home now, so you have a bath and rest. I'll check up on you tomorrow, remember okay? Behave."
"It's fine if you don't want to talk. I'm patient — I can wait."
"You shouldn't be rude and accept what's given to you, especially food. Eat it all up."
"Won't you please tell me? I really don't want to make this harder."
And they'll look so genuinely sorry saying these things while commiting, say, torture. And they do feel sorry for what they're doing, they just believe it's a necessary evil forced upon them by their victim's resistance. They might even nurture their victim, heal them, feed them, treat them kindly, but they walk on a very tight leash and it's the most insignificant things that trigger them, like not saying thank you or being rude at the table.
You got yours hands all muddy
"I'm planting", you guarantee
They trought that is just a tree

Headcanon:
Helga Hufflepuff helped Salazar Slytherin build the Chamber of Secrets.
Yes, I know what you will tell me "It's impossible, Helga was the kindest and most benevolent and blah blah blah." But let me explain myself for a moment.
-The entrance to the Chamber of Secrets is in the girls' bathroom on the second floor and underground
Point number 1: GIRLS bathroom. Why was Salazar going to build it in the bathroom of the OPPOSITE sex. Is rare. It may seem like a masterstroke of a genuine genius because no one would suspect that it would be there the entrance BUT Slytherin would have no good excuse to enter there, much less to build a bathroom. So he had to be helped by a girl to made it. Which brings me to:
Point number 2:
BATHROOM. I've already said that only a girl could help Salazar create the entrance there without raising suspicions. That leaves us with Rowena or Helga. And let's face it, I don't think Rowena bothered to create bathrooms. On the other hand, the sweet Helga, who loved all those who could not be accepted in the other houses, surely she would have taken care of the "trifles" like building the bathrooms.
Point number 3: Where is the Chamber of Secrets? Exactly, underground o, say it in another way, under the EARTH. And what element represents Hufflepuff? The EARTH.
It is quite possible that Helga was very good at excavation and stone reshaping spells. Perfect for creating the Camera
Point number 4: SalazarXHelga is canon and Helga was loyal enough to Salazar to create it for him (Ok, no, but who doesn't like this ship 💚💛)
Is this headcanon a crazy thing or a plaussible thing?

Honey Badger
[...] The honey badger is notorious for its strength, ferocity and toughness. It is known to savagely and fearlessly attack almost any other species when escape is impossible, reportedly even repelling much larger predators such as lion and hyena [...]
[...] It accesses a large part of its food by digging it out of burrows. It often raids beehives in search of both bee larvae and honey. It also feeds on insects, frogs, tortoises, turtles, lizards, rodents, snakes, birds and eggs. [...]
Aesthetic: Evil Hufflepuff
Not all Hufflepuffs are good. Some are evil, wicked and manipulative
Dark!Hufflepuff aesthetic/collage because yesterday I went to look Huff posts by tumblr and everything was cute, soft and love.
And, yes, most Huffs are like that, a lot of my personality is like that. But we are not all balls of love. I know a couple of Huff girls who would give you real fear. I myself give fear when somebody hurt who I love.
Loyalty, hard work, sense of justice…
Nowhere says kindness.
Loyalty can be to evil people, hard work can be to achieve a wrong goal, justice is not always fair…
I hate how people think Hufflepuffs are push-overs or “the nice house” because we believe in equality and justice. I think there could be a dark side to Hufflepuffs as well. For example, a Hufflepuff will be nice to someone as long as they are nice back. But if the other person screws the Hufflepuff over on something, a Hufflepuff won’t mind getting their hands a bit dirty to get a little bit of revenge, or as I like to think of it “get on equal footing.” A “Dark” Hufflepuff wouldn’t mind being a jerk just to give that person a taste of their own medicine. It’s all about being equals right?
Hufflepuff
I made a thing~
How terrifying would a hufflepuff dark wizard be?
Absolutely terrifying. Not only are Hufflepuffs hardworking but extremely loyal. So if they believed in whoever the dark wizard (Voldemort) was they would follow them until the ends of the world. And if they were the leader of their own cause they would put in the hard work necessary to achieve their goals.
The reason no one would ever suspect a hufflepuff of murder is because we are seen as the "innocent/nice" house. It would be like blaming a baby for murder, youd get laughed out of the investigation.
Okay but like a dark Hufflepuff would be the most dangerous. Because Hufflepuffs are willing to put in the time and work due to their hardworking nature. They wouldn’t act too quickly but would meticulous plan it out until they could carry out their plan to fruition.
Basically everyone always claims Slytherins are the scary house but who you really should fear is the Puffs out there.
Aesthetic: Dark Hufflepuff
They know some of the most horrific curses…and will gladly use them on anyone who threatens their friends.
Their experiments in potions class once produced a truly horrific hybrid of Polyjuice and Skele-Gro…and their experiments in the kitchens once resulted in a rather delicious pumpkin-vanilla-spice cake.
Their dueling has been described as aggressive, merciless, and visually unsettling…but they always find time to bow before and after a match.
They thrive on darkness and can go days without leaving their enclave…except to step out and water their venomous tentacula.
They hide in plain sight, their actions often going unnoticed, because who would suspect someone from ‘the friendly house’….right?
