You're a good rper and I hope you get out of this slump bae (I can't really say much cuz i've not been trying at all cuz by now its not even laziness but unwillingness to get involved with other people. . . which is kinda really dumb yeah) hope you do reply cuz I'm waiting but I don't mind (i can wait like a year or more no biggie ;P)

Hmm. It seems like Yui has fallen asleep for one reason or another. And in such a strange place! But, oh, whatās this? It seems sheās talking in her sleep, shouting at the nearest personā¦
"Give me a cupcakeā¦!" She snorted, drool oozing from her mouth.
Kit had been walking around the gardens admiring the beautiful flowers. He really enjoyed walking in the gardens since he really liked the different plants that his mother had collected over a lot of years. But since the garden hardly interested her royal wickedness anymore, it was a sort of haven from her and most of the servants since most either didn't have the time for it or were scared of the more dangerous plants.Ā Coming to a small shrine, he noticed a girl asleep on one of the benches. She looked extremely stranger, wearing clothes that seemed very out of place in this world. This sparked his curiosity.Ā He came near her and shook her by the shoulders.Ā
"Hey, what are you doing here?" he asked as she seemed to be waking up.
Once Kuro was out of sight, he casually backed away from the table, eyeing the assassin carefully. Ignoring the temptation to hum a little tune, he snuck up behind the man and jabbed the dagger he had been hiding in his sleeve into the assassinās arm - the one holding the knife.Ā
The assassin let out a shriek and loosened his grip on Kit. In less than a second, the butler had grabbed Kit and knocked out the assassin with a blow to the back of his neck.Ā The butler then turned to Kuro.Ā
"Thank you," he slightly bowed. Kit was desperately clinging to the butler who seemed a bit annoyed at that since Kit was crying and getting his (the butler's) clothes a bit wet. So he dropped Kit on the floor. Looking at him sternly, he said, "This is why we don't let any strangers into the castle, Kit." He turned to Kuro then, "I don't know if that was part of some plan, and we shall still be watching you intently, but for now you still have our thanks and are welcomed." The butler gave him an evil smile and left. The other servants also walked away, some giving sympathetic looks to Kit, some suspicious glances at Kuro, though some just smiled kindly at him.Ā One maid stayed behind.Ā
I'll bring some more tea," she said sympathetically. Then also left.
"Huh? You really think I could do anything to hurt you? Iām just a petty little human! Donāt mind me~!" He grinned and warily grabbed his tea cup, casually taking a sip. Hmm, now how was he going to help outā¦? Kuro studied the situation carefully, waiting for an opportunity to move in.
The assassin furrowed his eyebrows.Ā What the hell is wrong with that guy? he thought.Ā
All the servants still stood at the door, too afraid to come into the balcony though there was more of them by now. All waiting for an opening to rescue their young master.Ā
Suddenly the butler from way before showed up. He took a look at the situation and walked into the balcony.
"Let go of the child," he stated. His eyes sparkling dangerously.
The assassin's attention shifted to him.Ā
"Like hell I will!" he exclaimed. "Don't even try to come closer! . . . Why don't you call the master?"Ā
"The dark lord cannot be reached at this moment," the butler stated, frowning.Ā
"I don't believe you," the assassin snarled.

Yikes. Kuro was secretly armed, as he always had a knife hidden in his sleeve, but he would have to get close to this assassin if he was to be any use physically (he never liked guns, so he rarely had one with him).
Thankfully, he was a detective, and they had plenty of ways to fight against these sorts of people.
"H-Hey, did you follow me or something? Thatās kind of rude, isnāt it?" He stood up from his chair and put on a nervous smile. The detective took a step away from the chair, so the table wasnāt in his way anymore. "But come on, what are you going to do with that? Do you really want to kill him? I mean, if you really wanted to, you would have just done it instead of attracting all this attentionā¦ So yāknow, if this is a hostage situation, the knife is a bit unnecessary, because you canāt exactly kill your hostages and expect to get something out of itā¦ā
The assassin kinda just stared at Kuro.Ā "Well okay, I won't kill him," he rolled his eyes. "But I will harm him if you keep moving!" He threateningly brought the knife closer to Kit's throat.Ā

"Yeah, thatās a good mantra to live by. You never know what you may be getting yourself intoā¦" Kuro picked up the teacup. "If you do stop by, justā¦ donāt get your hopes up, alright? I find the world is much more admirable when you arenāt trying to be impressed. But maybe Iām just used to it allā¦" His voice gradually grew quieter, before he finished what he was trying to say and took a sip of tea.
Kit took a sip of his tea, reaching to grab a raspberry muffin. He took a bite of the muffin and chewed it silently for a moment. He seemed to be thinking about what Kuro said.Ā "Yeah, I guess that makes sense," he said.Ā Suddenly, a young man jumped up onto the balcony from what seemed to be the ground below that was the castles garden. He was dressed in what seemed to be clothes that made him not bring much attention on himself.Ā With his foot, he pushed Kit's chair and grabbed the young half-demon by the arm. He put his arm around his shoulder and brought a knife to his neck.Ā
Kit gasped, and his eyes began to water as he whimpered.Ā
At least ten servants all appeared at the entrance of the balcony, looking extremely alarmed. If they used their magic at the man, they knew they could accidentally harm Kit and that frightened them a lot. Ā
"Now, nobody do anything or the little pest gets harmed," he smirked, seeing the horror on all their faces.Ā
The servants felt really stupid for missing the man earlier. But he did use the little magic he had to make himself invisible and no one noticed because they were all too focused on Kuro.Ā
In the heat of the moment, Kit forgot that he knew at least a bit of magic that could get him out of this situation, or at least help him shield himself from his servants' magic but fear made his mind go blank. All he could do was try not to move and whimper pitifully.

Ā Ā Ā Ā āMaybe youāre physically the weakest, but Iām sure you have your own talents that only you can preform.ā He leans back in the chair. āBesides, that would just mean you could fit in my world better, right? At least, it could serve as a stepping stone, yāknow? Get used to the world over there, and then you come back here with all the knowledge youāve gathered. I mean, clearly it must be worth something, considering Iām in this world and not dead yet.ā The effects that charisma had on people was universal - a friendly smile and casual compliments could usually get you anywhere.
Kit smiled, blushing even more.Ā
"Thanks," he said shyly. "It would be nice to visit your world. I'd like to see how it is there. Since one should never decide on something without checking all the options out or something," he mumbled. He read many books where the main character rushed into something they thought was better only to get into a worse situation. But trying never hurt anyone. Only how would he be able to persuadeĀ his father, and could his father sent Kuro back his own world? Probably. He vaguely remembered his father going to other worlds.Ā
Kit stared at Kuro in almost horror as he began to blush.Ā
"Uh, Iām o-only half-human," he winced. Ā
Kuro smiled anyways. āI figured something like that was the case. Is that a bad thing? I donāt know how it is in this world, but weāre a pretty successful race where I come from.ā
"Demons and those with a lot of magic ability are the strong ones in this world- unless you have a lot of money and can afford to have magic users keep you safe," he said. "Being that everyone else in the castle is a demon, me being the half-demon half-human makes me the weakest," he shrugged.Ā
"It is generally accepted that everyone is human, yeah." He shrugged. "If there is something else, then theyāre doing a good job keeping hidden. But there are some pretty weird or questionable people out there. I bet youād fit in pretty well. I mean, Iāve only known you for a short time and Iāve seen nothing but human-like traits from you!ā
Kit stared at Kuro in almost horror as he began to blush.Ā
"Uh, I'm o-only half-human," he winced. Ā
"This world does seem kind of dangerous," the detective admitted, watching the tea pour into his cup. "Hey, now that you know there are other worlds, maybe you could convince him to take you to one. Where I come from is probably infinitely safer - I bet youād be fine there! I mean, if people who canāt see or walk can survive there, Iām sure someone able-bodied like you could!"
He didnāt really know what āgeneticsā had to do with Kitās strength, but it seemed like a family matter that didnāt concern him.
The boy's face took on a thoughtful look.Ā
"I don't know, I probably wouldn't fit," he said uncertainly. Then in a hushed whisper he asked, "Is everyone human in your world?"Ā
Kuro did his best to ignore the look that the maid gave him, keeping a smile plastered on his face. When she was gone and they were both seated, he spoke up.
"I understand how that feels. My parents rarely let me go anywhere when I was a kid. My mom used to lock me in my room every night. She was kind of crazy." He shrugged - he was comfortable with talking about his family but it certainly never failed to put a damper on his mood.
"To make up for it, I spend a lot of time traveling now that I donāt have to deal with them anymore." He put on another smile. "Though I usually donāt go too far considering I have to stick with my roommates, who arenāt big on constant travel.ā
Kit laughed a little. It was a sad kind of laughter.
"Well the castle is my room. My papa tells me I'm not strong enough for the world out there, but really it's just his perspective. I'll never be strong enough in his eyes. Genetics," he sighed, pouring a cup of tea for Kuro.Ā
Kuro had wealthy acquaintances, and friends who would tell stories of their wealthy acquaintances, but he was still left in awe at his surroundings (despite not having the eyes to fully appreciate it). He let Kit guide him around, simply because he just seemed so excited about this, and nodded along and complimented the sights.
He was still smiling by the time they reached the balcony. At the sight of it, he immediately went for the edge and gazed at the view.
"I bet āLexa would kill for a view like thisā¦" He found himself muttering it before he could stop himself - he was so caught up in the sights that the detective sort of forgot how to internalize anything. He turned to face Kit again and smiled.
"Pretty great place! Iām not one for big, open buildings but I would be lying if I said I wasnāt a little bit envious."
"I've only ever lived in the castle so I don't have much to compare it by," Kit smiled sadly. He really wanted to see more of the world but his papa wasn't really fond of the idea. He always told him that he could once he was older but not now. Kit understood his father's worry- he wasn't strong enough in his father's eyes. But who could be when your father could kill a man with a snap of his finger. And being half-human kind of automatically made Kit weaker than anyone else in the castle.Ā
Kit was interrupted from his thoughts by a maid who scurried in carrying a platter with tea necessities. She smiled at Kit and gave Kuro a suspicious glance as she began to set up the tea and raspberry tarts.Ā
"That looks wonderful," Kit beamed. "Thanks Kirma," he carefully hugged the maid after she was done placing everything.Ā
"No problem, sweetie," she smiled and left the balcony.
Kit sat down in a chair and gestured for Kuro to sit with him. He began to pour himself a cup of earl grey tea.Ā
"Ooh, I love tea!" He grinned and announced a daring cheery āthank you!ā to the butler. Hopefully, as long as he just smiled and stuck with this boy, he could return home in one pieceā¦
"By the way," the detective said to the boy, "my name is Kuro. Kuro Tzusuki. Itās a pleasure tā meet you, even if the circumstances are a bit weird."
"My name is Kit," the boy grinned. "I love tea, too. Shaiel always bakes something- pie, muffin, biscuits- but it is always divine!"Ā The butler closed the door behind them as they entered the castle. The interior was very luxurious. Most of the walls seemed to be made of gold and precious metals and gems. It was very contrasting to the very dark and gruesome exterior of the castle. Though the gardens were magnificent.Ā
Kit linked his arm with Kuro and lead him up the grand marble staircase to the second floor. They passed by many different rooms- Kit excitedly stating what each room was, even though most of them were studies and guest rooms. It was rare for anyone new to ever come to the castle and even if they did, it was to talk to his father about business so he never got to give tour to anyone ever.Ā
Finally he stopped at what seemed to be a huge balcony. It had many small coffee tables and very comfortable-looking chairs.Ā
"This is where the tea is normally served when it's nice out. And since it's nice out today, we can expect tea here," he smiled.Ā
