thanks for 100 followers in so little time! in my main fandom it would take a good three months for an oc to get to 100 so this sort of surprised me. ANYWAYS. i’m very glad that I was accepted so quickly and I’ve made some great friends already and look forward to making more! i’m not going to mention anyone, but you know who you are! onto what you all are probably reading this for:

The guy had deserved it.
They always did. Sticking his head into things that didn’t matter to him. Things that were none of his business. Just like everyone else. Rubbing their grubby hands all over things that had no meaning. Things that did not matter.
Bootlickers. Liars. Blinded followers who thought themselves safe in a world where they were only deceiving themselves.
Idiots. IDIOTS.
He winced as he moved to grip the side of his head, shaking it faintly as he heard her cries of anguish over the death. However, his shoulders started to shake as the Voice Villain started to laugh. From a silent shake to a high pitched, almost shrieking laughter, Present Mic wrapped his arms around his stomach before he motioned towards her.
“You did them a favor! What else were they going to do? Keep living with this filth in their hearts? Nothing’s gonna ever change kid unless you MAKE it change.” He said as the laughter died down, though the manic grin still spread wide on his face.
“This! This is what we should be doing! Someone has to clean out the trash that heroes won’t touch!”
“What...”
“But I!” The girl could vaguely taste something metallic in the back of her throat. Her chest heart from hyperventilating, but the sheer mania happening in front of her shocked her from her slight stupor. “But the police do that.. I’m gonna-” A pale hand wiped blood from her temple, the splatters beginning to dry on her pale skin. This wasn’t what she had expected from Present Mic. She had expected to be apprehended with the simple act. Her views were breaking - she felt like she was breaking and it confused her. “What’re you... What’re you gonna do? Trash? I mean - yeah that guy is-is really shitty for going after a girl like me- but, but, now what? I.. What do I do?”
For a moment, Alix didn’t believe herself. But something to please the teacher that had once taken a shine to her, someone who taught her things properly, or so she had thought, he was the only one she could think of turning to. Even despite this side she had never seen before.
She couldn’t trust anyone else. Not her father, not the police; it was him.
“What do I need to do?”

He couldn’t help but feel some amusement at her flustered state. “I pretty much thought it was a height thing, it typically is for most tanks.” He teased but didn’t press it further as they settled in.
“I’m off the clock so I couldn’t be better.” He followed her inside the cafe and sat at an empty booth. A waitress came by and he only put in an order for some tea. “So how goes the level grinding?”
“Shitty,” she snorted with a narrowing of her vibrant eyes. She paused for a few seconds to order a cup of chai with the bags left in, hoping that the warm flavors would help her calm down. Once the waitress left, her full attention was back on the other.
“My internet goes out every time I get to the boss... Either someone is playing tricks with me or my laptop really, really hates me. Not to mention I haven’t had a lot of time to do solo stuff with classes and training.” With the small rant over, Alix finally sat back and tried to ease up a bit more. “And off the clock? You really do treat it like a regular job, don’t you?”

❝ That’s all I beg of you, ❞ they mused softly listening patiently as she spoke, enjoying the sound of her voice blinking a bit as her arms sneaked around the small of their back, their body simply relaxing into the touch, the tight grip on their shirt they wrapped their arms tighter around her waist pulling her closer a gentle smile played on black lips as they kept eye contact with those alluring eyes.

“Is it alright if I touch you?” Alix asked in a light tone, seemingly mesmerized by the calming cadence of their voice, as if she were savoring each word that they spoke. The girl could imagine herself falling asleep to their voice, to the way that they smelled like her favorite nights mixed into one essence.
She placed her foot against their ankle, the movement slow and hesitant but showing just how she wanted to encompass them with all she could. Her heart was racing. “Would you hate me if I wanted to stay like this forever? It feels so... safe.”
