I finally finished un-packing.
You tell me.
I have plenty of fun thanks. You caught me at a bad time.
Jeremy, the point of me asking a question is so you can tell me.
Uh-huh...
So Cold | Ben Clocks
Oh, you can hear me cry See my dreams all die From where you’re standing On your own.
It’s so quiet here And I feel so cold This house no longer Feels like home.
Oh,when you told me you’d leave I felt like I couldn’t breath I should’ve known better Now it hurts much more.
There’s a hole in my soul I can’t fill it I can’t fill it There’s a hole in my soul Can you fill it? Can you fill it?
Oh, Jesse! It's fine.
You're just as good as a pizza guy... Maybe.
There’s no point in denying it. I know what I saw.
I’m better. Not as damaged on the outside. Life moves on I guess.
What are you accusing me of, Gilbert?
Maybe it'd move on quicker if you left your self-pity party and did something fun for a change.
I really hope not…
Why not? You'd have unlimited pizza and you'd be hot.
Girls Night In {Tessa + Anna}
Hearing the girls next words, Tessa froze, bottle midway to her lips before putting it back down. “I’m so sorry,” she muttered, wondering if she should be regretting the idea to bring out alcohol. “Do you want to talk about it? Or— I don’t know. I know what it’s like to have a bad past. Sometimes I want to tell people to screw off, and other time’s I just want to tell my entire story and have a complete breakdown.”
"Bullshit," Anna said, painting the last nail on Tessa's hand, "You didn't even know her." She couldn't count how many times people had said that, including her herself, but she knew that that was all it was saying it. Not that it bothered her, it was just life. She paused for a moment, "Not really. Some people came to town -- burned some of us alive. Somebody came in and saved us. Not much to tell," she screwed the cap on the nail polish and moved the Tessa's other hand on the other side of the rug, switching out the tequila, "What's your story?" She asked quietly, her face burning up as she realized that she revealed more of hers than she probably should have.
Girls Night In {Tessa + Anna}
Watching Anna, Tessa didn’t even realize she had opened the door to something more personal— life at home. Just hearing her talk about her friend, she could tell it wasn’t a welcomed topic. Hell, Tessa wasn’t about to talk about her life either, but the alcohol running through her system was making her curious. If that was a good thing or not, she couldn’t tell. “Alcohol does make things a hell of a lot better,” she said, gently leaning into her own hand. “Have you talked to your friend since? You know— kept connected and all that jazz?”
"Well she's dead." Anna blurted out, the alcohol having more of a voice than she'd expected. She froze for a moment but then decided that tonight wasn't the night to be anxious. After another long drink from their tall bottle she took a deep breath, "It was a fire. A lot of people died actually," she found herself coolly spewing out her words, "I'm over it. Not really," she said with a chuckle, although she wasn't quite sure what was so funny.
Girls Night In {Tessa + Anna}
Letting out a laugh, Tessa lied down on her stomach, sticking out her left hand while clutching onto the bottle with her right. “By all means, have at it. I hope you have a steady hand, Anna.” While drinking some more, Tessa was doing whatever she could to get as drunk as possible. With everything that had been going on since she’d come back, that’s all she’d been wanting to do. Spend a night with no drama, no threats, no deaths, and get drunk. “When’s the last time you had a night like this? Because, to be honest, I’ve been wanting one for too long.”
Anna smiled, laying down perpendicular to Tessa so that her head was by her hand, "No promises," she began to paint Tessa's nails. "Oh I--" Anna furrowed her brows, trying to remember the last time she'd had a girls night in like this, "Probably back home. With my old friend..." Anna tried to maintain her smile, not wanting to think about what happened to her weeks later, "But back then my mom hid all of the alcohol from us. This is much better," she paused to swipe the tequila, taking a big swig before handing it back to Tessa.
Slowly sitting down on the carpet, Tessa didn’t wait to take the bottle out of Anna’s hands and bring it to her lips. As a vampire, constantly drinking and not having to worry about any organs shutting down always had its perks, especially in moments like these. Tessa needed some normality in her life, and she would be damned if she didn’t get that tonight. “That black one is mine,” she muttered, laughing as she took another swig of the bottle in front of her.
Anna's eyes widened at the loss of the bottle in her hands, which turned to uncontrolled laughter. Anna wasn't a lightweight, but she'd been drinking for the past hour -- it all starting with the stress of looking at those 20 unpacked boxes piled high in her closet. Then, her brother had called giving her news that her grandmother had become very sick. So, it was convenient at the time that the liquor was within walking distance of her apartment complex. To top it all off, she was falling behind on rent. To say that it had been a crappy day would be an understatement. "Dark," she teased before snatching the black polish and unscrewing the top, "Toes or nails first? If we're gonna do this we're gonna go all the way -- that means I'm painting your nails."
Well, in my eyes, the last time I had girl time was— a long time ago.
Let’s do it.
Anna giggled, feeling way happier than usual -- side effects of the alcohol. "Me too," she said, grabbing a bottle of tequila from her pantry and setting it next to the tray of nail colors that she'd laid on her fuzzy carpet in the living area. Anna switched on the stereo before milling over the nail colors. "Ooh --" she exclaimed, eyeing a navy blue, "I want this one. Blue..." she drug out the word giddily, shaking the bottle.
Perfect.
Maybe we can even paint our nails, you know, normal girly things.
Oh my god, why does that actually sound like a good idea?
Give me another shot and I'll run to get the nail polish.
"It worked, didn’t it?" He shot back, enjoying Anna’s sense of humour. "Sorry, love. I don’t like my witches dead." And with that said, Klaus wasted no time in biting into his wrist and holding it up towards Anna, waiting for her to heel herself. "Cheers."
Anna slowly pulled Klaus' wrist to her mouth, smelling the salty substance. Closing her eyes, she began to drink. When her mouth was full, she detached her mouth and swallowed. "Mm, delicious," she coughed, licking the remaining blood from her teeth. "Your witches? Hmm, now when did I sign over my life to you?"
I smelt the alcohol from a mile away. I thought I would come join a friend.
Well then come on in.
We can talk about boys and braid each other's hair. Okay, okay I'm not that wasted -- yet.
Pausing, Klaus turned around the moment he saw Anna’s hand coated with her own blood. Letting out a small sigh, he walked towards her, ready to do what was needed. “Jason hit you quite hard, didn’t he?” He muttered while turning her around, seeing enough blood to know it was serious. “Well, love, I’m afraid you have two options. Option number one being, take my blood so it can heal you. Option number two being, you don’t have any other options.”
Anna rolled her eyes, "Maybe next time don't compel your Hybrid friends to attack me," she paused, "But thanks." Anna waited a moment before chuckling blandly, "As splendid as it sounds, and since I have no other options...alright." She waited for Klaus to give her his blood and decided to add, "However, I did actually contemplate death for a second there," Anna suppressed a smile at her extremely lame joke.
Nope, I’m just hot.
Oh hey Tessa...
Hehehe, yes you are. Ah, w-what are you doing here?
