Introducing students to balancing chemical equations - using Lego!
Bahlui is a 119 km long river that crosses my hometown. It is very close to Palas, the most popular commercial center from Ias i. Actually one of its affluents, Nicolina, flows close-by my garden.
Although it’s part of my city’s landscape, it usually is neglected and polluted.
My school is located near this river, so from time to time I take a look-see at it and things seem to get worse.
Even though the smell sometimes barely supportable, emanating a nauseating scent and usually its waters are murky, coloured with an unhealthy gray-brown kind of shade, things got worse recently.
Instead of the usual muddy colour, a rainbow bloomed on the surface of the river. The motive seems to be a leakage of oils and hydrocarbs originated from a tank of Fortus society.
The authorities took notice and actioned as fast as possible spreading absorbing materials and monitoring the quality of the potable water more than usual.
While this recent accident drew attention to Bahlui, I can’t shake off my mind the fact that no measures are taken to stop the pollution of this important part of the city.

Strawberries and Cream Bites
Are you entertaining on the Fourth of July? Like Thanksgiving and Christmas, I always find myself suckered into some level of hostessing. I don’t mind it, but it is a lot of pressure.
Want to be the host/hostess with the most-est? Here’s something fucking fancy for you to try: these adorable baby tarts that taste like strawberries and cream.
It doesn’t take a lot of time to make but it can be very impressive if you pay attention to the presentation. The best thing about this recipe is that it does not matter how amazing or awful your culinary skills are. Everyone can make this. EVERYONE.
