So this has been eating at me since I first started watching Suits,
I wasn't a fan of Rachel since episode one, and I can really go over the series again and collect, categorise, and table all the scenes that made me hate her, never mind that I'm still in season 4!!
But for now I wanna say this before I start screaming about injustice and showrunners brilliant idea of story for the romantic interest of one of the main characters,
Her whole situation with Logan, predictable, I know, but seriously,
She just brings Tess every chance she's got? They weren't even together!! And maybe he did adultery and he's absolutely wrong, but the only person he wronged was Tess's husband, and maybe Harvey, but not Zane, and he was grieving!!! Because the last person he had in his life was gone!! His emotions were all over the place, and he got what he had!! What excuse did she have?!!! All she does is make things difficult for him and expect to be greeted with a slap on the wrist and then a warm hug??
And she can't blame Logan for that either!! She slept with him while he was married! I don't know about you but what I saw in the flashback was not only someone breaking a family, but someone who revels in it!! I honestly saw horns in her head in that scene she was whispering in his ears!! Mike knew he was wrong and that's what made him break things up with Tess, but Zane only broke things because she felt humiliated by him, all she cares about is her dignity, which is not wrong except when you care about it from the beginning not after doing the deed!!!
And she asked Mike after the whole Tess situation for space, and he tried, really tried to do that, and when he asks the same, wanna say as a common courtesy but it's his goddamn right! , she goes and shits all over his wishes!! That's strong arming, woman!! And not even that!! She's forcing him to accept her because she can't handle being in the same space without touching? What the hell??
Now that I said my piece I'm actually more annoyed with her, I really can't find a single thing I liked about her place in the plot or her own story, let alone her personality!!
I hate raising a problem without a solution, but it's only fiction, so I can't have a solid answer except writing fanfiction to appease my enraged heart, or rewriting the whole damn show at least for my own self, if someone has a logical explanation for the whole thing or at least a fanfic that makes sense and a really good read?
I apologise for all the Rachel fans (if anyone even read my post) for my aggression towards her, but I really couldn't keep it inside much longer, and as I said previously, there is a lot I have on her since episode one she can't seem to improve no matter how many episodes I watch.
