“I don’t trust him, Chris,” Trish interjects, trying her hardest not to fly up off the bar stool. Her eyes are focused on Paul’s back as he heads off upstairs to locate her friend and his best friend. She trembles some, knowing what Shawn is capable of and yet she knows she’s warned Nikki nearly a dozen times to stay away from the DX boys. “She’s a big girl, Patricia,” Chris notes, resting his hand on her knee giving the area a firm squeeze, “everything will be okay.” The diva wants to trust the words of her lover, and yet she feels uneasy in the chest. Her light eyes continue to watch as the champion starts to blur from her vision, her reluctance to trust this situation leaves her sour stomached and uneasy.
Nikki stands upstairs in the bedroom, her hands nearly trembling as Shawn continues to talk to her from the adjoining bathroom. She knows she could leave right now and escape and yet she stands still, her body like an ice sculpture completely cemented in place. The brunette is barely listening to the superstar as he makes his way back over to her, his demeanor even more hazy than before. He reaches out for her hand again, but instead of waiting for her to offer up a kind gesture, he’s tugging her forward all on his own. “Don’t pull me too hard,” she nervously giggles, “these heels might take me down.” The wrestler merely scoffs and settles down at the edge of the bed, bringing the newest addition to the WWF closer to him still.
“You’re one of a kind,” Shawn smiles up at the diva, his hand beginning to tighten around hers. “Thank you,” she grins back politely, watching his light eyes as they glance to the spot beside him on the mattress. “I mean truly stunning,” he continues to compliment, now patting the comforter, signifying that he wants her beside him. Against her better judgement, Nicole does as she instructed, taking a seat directly next to the other half of the DX tag team. “You got a boyfriend, Nikki girl?” the wrestler asks, reaching his hand over and pushing a few stray strands of hair away from her face. The young women merely shakes her head, glancing down at her lap before focusing back on Michaels. “That’s a good thing,” he nods, “it’s too difficult to have a relationship in this business, I mean a real one....it’s better to just keep things casual and fun.” Swallowing hard, the brunette feels her cheeks redden and burn as Shawn slides even closer to her, his large hand now resting on her face. “I think you and I can be great friends, doll,” he nearly whispers, staring at her lips the entire time. “You wanna be my special friend, Nikki?” he quips with a smirk, his mouth mere inches from her own as a sinister gleam takes over everything that might have once been inviting about the older man.
“I should go,” she breathes, it’s almost silent and Michaels isn’t listening at this point. His mouth inhales whatever bit she’s willing to give as he presses his weight further onto her side of the bed. The strength overpowers the brunette, her back hitting the mattress, as Shawn slides upward on top of her trembling form. “Shawn,” she mumbles, his hands now sliding over her body feverishly as he kisses her cheek and neck, her own arms becoming like led as they fall to her sides powerless. The female wrestler is in shock as she lays there staring up at the ceiling, her frame being touched and prodded by her notorious coworker. This wasn’t what she’d wanted at all from this night and yet she felt as if she couldn’t stop him, couldn’t find the words nor the strength to push him away. Was this what happened to the new girls? Was this a sick initiation that would have to pass in order to be considered a top player in this business? Was this everything Trish had warned her about and more? Had this happened to blonde downstairs, or was Nicole just too weak to fight him off?
“Shawn, please,” she reasoned then as he grabbed at her heaving breasts, her eyes beginning to well up with tears as she began to stir under his aggressive advances. “We shouldn’t do this, please,” she was now begging, something she didn’t think she’d ever have to do in her life. Why was it so hard to just shove him off? Why was this so difficult for her to avoid? The Arizona native closed her eyes tightly, the water works beginning to fall down her cheeks as she replayed a scene from her teen years, a scene she’d never anticipated on repeated ever again. She’d had enough abuse for a lifetime, her body had been broken before and she’d vowed to never allow that to happen again. She stayed clear of these situations because of it, her instinct to run only now leading her back to such a traumatic point in her life. Would Shawn really do a thing like that to her? It appeared so as she was pinned harder into the mattress, her legs beginning to move as her arms began to lift up and then collapse against Michaels’ back.
“Please, no!” she shrieked this time, praying to God that he’d actually listen this time and save her from this sinful and perverse hell that she knew she could not mentally go through one more time.
