Paige: So are we going with family emergency? Or do you have a better plan because you're the smart one?
Virginia: You'll have to make it something quite personal, so that they can't offer to come and help you. For instance, saying 'my friend's dog is missing and I must go search for it' would only lead to your nuisance following you out on the hunt.

Paige: Call me and get me out of this conversation NOW.
Paige: Please?
Virginia: All right, but you have 120 seconds to make a convincing exist. I don't want to chit chat for an endless amount of time as your excuse.

Virginia: You should buy a sheep.
Virginia: A) You get an awesome pet.
Virginia: B) free coat

Virginia: I want to be on TV.
Virginia: Simply to test if all forms of reporting are created equally. Is broadcast journalism actually more difficult than print journalism? I can't know unless I try.

Virginia: You spent the entire night trying to get me to make out with you.
Virginia: You claimed it was for 'investigative purposes' but I fail to see what you were investigating.

Virginia: Two words: fractured penis. Two more: emergency room.
Virginia: I know it's not the highest-brow news we could report, but it IS something all of our classmates will be buzzing about. We may as well find out all the facts we can. Do you think they'll let us into his hospital room?

Jane: I need you there. I need someone to glance at when other people inevitably annoy me.
Virginia: You really ought to have led with that, dear cousin. You wouldn't have had to beg nearly so much if I'd realized silently judging people was on the agenda.

Basket Number 39
Two mugs to drink from reading ‘Be-you-tiful’. 3 different kinds of tea leaves: golden chai, lemon chamomile, and orange spice. A jar of honey and a honey dipper. A few sugar cubes. 6 disposable tea bag filters. A small travel candle and matches. And lastly, bouquet of flowers for the recipient.
Basket Number 39, made by @evie--grimhilde, was bought by @darlingvirginias !!

CJ: Stealing, pranking, plotting psychological terror upon others, and above all, doing it in style 💁🏼♀️
CJ: Adventurous enough by Auradon standards, maybe! And please, my father's enemies were children, I knew from an extraordinarily young age he wasn't a good standard for villainish rivalry. Jane Goddaughter, yes! Now SHE would be perfect! Like a sacrificial lamb.

modern dating and how it should be handled
I personally think people should choose a pool of individuals they’re attracted to and make them all fill out compatibility surveys. If their answers to questions are up to your standards, you can skip so many unnecessary social interactions and jump straight into a more meaningful connection.
Ask my character "How do you feel about ______?"
the different kinds of writing that exist and which are the best or the worst
I have a personal preference for expository. I myself have a vivid imagination, so don’t need all the details that descriptive writing provides in order to picture something. Persuasive I feel like has its purposes, although I prefer to present facts and let others form their opinions, rather than trying to sway them to my point of view. Narrative writing is obviously well-loved by many, but I prefer non-fiction to fiction much of the time, so find it to be in the bottom half.
Ask my character "How do you feel about ______?"
how do you feel about people who write factually inaccurate books about notable people in auradon?
Well, I certainly don’t think they can be called journalists at that point, since journalists report the facts. I also think it’s a cheap way to make money, but people love scandal and would buy them anyway. Those are the people I’d truly judge -- the ones who clamor for things from disreputable sources simply because they’re dramatic and they live for the drama of it all.
Ask my character "How do you feel about ______?"
fiction vs non fiction literature
Literary nonfiction is perhaps my favorite genre. It tells facts and teaches me about real world events, but utilizes storytelling mechanics to make it more engaging than say the average history book.
Ask my character "How do you feel about ______?"
how do you about pirates and the havoc they cause in auradon?
Do they cause much havoc? It seems as if they’re more talk than action, which is disappointing, really. It would give me something out of the ordinary to report on for the school paper.
Ask my character "How do you feel about ______?"
how do you feel about women who refuse to shave?
I know you’re used to more eloquent answers from me, but my stance on this is really quite simple: her body, her choice.
Ask my character "How do you feel about ______?"
how do you feel about cancel culture?
While I too find many of my peers to be beneath me and would love an excuse not to have to engage with them, I think cancel culture is ridiculous. Even I don’t know everything in the world; people whose intentions aren’t malicious but are rooted in a place of ignorance instead should be given a chance to grow and learn. Cancel culture eliminates any incentive to try, because one misstep means one’s life is over. A life like that hardly seems worth living.
