Unlike Instagram, Tumblr is SUCH small artist friendly!! Like I have 10 followers and will still manage to get on average 50 likes and up to 300 (insane) with people commenting. Like yes I draw something from an obscure dead fandom and you tell me that the few hundreds people left will be fed??? Marvelous!

I hate "content" culture.

I hate "consuming content" and scrolling immediately to the next thing.

People used to be excited about the art that other people created.

People used to want to share that excitement with creators.

I hate this future.

Once someone tagged art that I made with "woah" and I think about it at least once a week. Someone else said "oh neat" once. Someone else WROTE A WHOLE DAMN POEM IN THE COMMENTS. Anyways even just one word can change how someone sees their art. You don't even have to think about it too hard. You could put a keyboard smash and I'd probably cry from joy.

I'm also trying hard to interact more, I understand that it's hard to break away from opening your phone and being in Content Consumption Mode.

People calling my art stunning and great in the tag of their RT made me cry a little bit ngl. It means so much as an adult who has stopped comparing themselves to others, only doing stuff out of pure raw emotions and passion and who doesn t have much time to pursue their art that people would stop a second to write down such lovely words. Preparing a fanart of echo and crosshair trauma bonding over loosing their hands and losing their twins (being watched over by ghost tech and ghost fives) . Phew such a work to keep this fandom in distress.
