thank god for poster putty, the kitbasher's best friend. i'm not super sure about the acerby breastplate but i'm not sure what else to do with the 30ms chest emblem port thing...

the earpieces are cut from the 30ms commander costume earpieces to fit in the rydira rear hairpiece. currently they're puttied into said hairpiece. not sure where i'll put them permanently, bc i want to keep the faceplate removable which mayyyy or may not work in their current position, and that's also on hold til painting phase.

i'm really pleased with how the legs turned out!!! pulled the calves and feet from the portanova space type, thighs from forestieri, and used the maxion-thpe knee joints. i took a minor bit off the calves to give them more range of motion and, since the sister thigh>polycap ball>30mm thigh series of connections is unstable as heck, after experimenting with various configurations of parts, i ended up making inserts for the thighs to lock the ball joints in place out of styrene plate. i feel like a genius for this one, lol. i think i'm gonna eventually cement the thighs together just to lock things down but i'll decide that after i decide whether i paint em. i actually might try this mod on some of my 30mm kits because i like it so much

I’ve had this idea in my head for awhile now.. finally got myself to draw it out and be please with how it looks 😮‍💨 but I always thought how much a briefcase alt mode could honestly fit Soundwave, (maybe even contain a computer inside his case mode?) then I realized I could also probably work it into a weapon as well 🤔 especially cuz I never really see any weapon alt mode concepts that much so 😛 I like to fill in the empty spaces.. the holoform also can change anyways so I just used a quick placeholder for the moment

fascinating how every single instance of Peni Parker so far has had an almost completely different design for the SP//dr mech. I like how they keep putting new spins on the concept. the closest match to the comics is probably Rivals but even there the vibe is pretty different. and now we have Tokon

rvb: when characters go through severe enough trauma sometimes they can fragment into different elements of themselves in order to protect their mental stability and the alters fragments have their own quirks and aspects that relate to the trauma that was inflicted in order to best protect the sanity of the character but still all belong to the same personality
