I’m just taking it slow... 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐞!

This little strawberry is embarking on a small surreal journey through space.

𝐀 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐚𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞.

When was the first time you heard: “𝑀𝑖 ℎ𝑎 𝑑𝑎𝑡𝑜 𝑢𝑛 𝑑𝑢𝑒 𝑑𝑖 𝑝𝑖𝑐𝑐ℎ𝑒!!!” ("They gave me two of spades")? Its spread into everyday language came after the arrival of French playing cards in Italy between the 15th and 16th centuries. Not the precious, Arabic-influenced cards made for courts and elites, but simple, affordable cards with easy-to-print designs accessible to everyone.

𝐈𝐧 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐈𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐲, 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧’𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐎𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐙𝐄 𝐀𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐒 𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐂𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐘, 𝐢𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞.

The two of spades isn’t just the lowest card in a ranking; according to the rhyme “Come Quando Fuori Piove” (used to determine the strongest hand through the initials of its four words), spades are considered the weakest suit in the hierarchy of a deck.

So, “𝑀𝑖 ℎ𝑎 𝑑𝑎𝑡𝑜 𝑢𝑛 𝑑𝑢𝑒 𝑑𝑖 𝑝𝑖𝑐𝑐ℎ𝑒!!!” became a playful way to indicate a flat-out rejection, usually in a romantic context like a date, a courtship, or even a marriage proposal.

𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞? 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐚𝐲 "𝑴𝒊 𝒉𝒂 𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒐 𝒖𝒏 𝒅𝒖𝒆 𝒅𝒊 𝑷𝒊𝒄𝒄𝒉𝒆!!!"

Once upon a time, in the enchanted world of Halloween, there was a tangle of branches and wonders.

𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐝 𝐚 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠.

No one, even to this day, knew what truly lay in wait within those shadows… only those who dared to look closer discovered it.

The light of Diwali doesn’t fade with the night, it keeps dancing in the colors, the sweets, and the smiles of those still celebrating today!

You only need a few pieces and a good idea to bring a story to life.

Do you know who she is?

𝐒𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞. Among her many peculiarities, she oversaw fairness, the laws of the gods and human nature, but also man-made laws and traditions.

Themis is always shown with a SWORD in her hand, symbolizing her ability to separate, or cut, the truth from the lies. Sometimes, she holds a SCALE as a symbol of justice and balance. But she is not always shown with a BLINDFOLD. The ancient Greeks showed her without it because of their belief in her ability to foresee events and judge without the need for blindness to ensure her impartiality.
