(Our first semi-comissioned cosplay! This costume was a collaboration between Lou (lithicks) and Emile. This is only version 1. The arm is going to be completely remade for the next convention. Hopefully this time out of real metal!)

Greetings AAC 2014 con-goers! Do you like to cosplay? Do you like to have your picture taken in cosplay? Would you like to have your picture taken in cosplay by a professional photography team?? Then you’ve come to the right place!

Murder By Cosplay will be offering their first official run of private photoshoots for any cosplayers wishing to have high-quality photos taken of their costumes!

Photoshoots will be offered on a half-hourly rate at $20 per person. If your group is larger that three people, we’ll be offering a discounted rate for every person over the third of $5 per person per half hour!

Our hours of availability are:

Friday 7-9 (later hours upon request)

Saturday 10-11,12-5 (later hours upon request)

Sunday 10-2

Change is on the wind

Hello again! 

Another convention season is reaching its end, and with it we have had a few changes here at Das Cosplay. We have said goodbye to our friend Ly, who has gone off to bigger and better things. We hope they have a good time wherever life takes them with their new husband. And as we say goodbye to one member of the family, we say hello to a new one! Give a big welcome to Beniam, our resident Gaston and the Burnt cosplayer featured in our first OFF cosplay shoot! Beniam is a swell guy, and we're sure he's going to fit right in with the family. As AAC fast approaches, most of us here at Das Cosplay are busy preparing. Expect updates in the near future!

Con season is just around the corner, which means super fun stress-relieving times! Yay!

A few announcements:

First con coming up is Genericon starting Feb 28. Emile will be selling goods in the artist alley. Stop by if you’re in the New York area!

Everyone’s favorite Boston-based con, Anime Boston is only a few weeks away! Who’s excited? I am! Well I still got to get to buying a badge but shhh. The majority of Das Cosplay will be attending.

HEY. Do you like Pacific Rim? Or Godzilla and the likes? Well it’s your lucky weekend, Ly and Lou of Germanscienceboyfriends are running a panel all about kaijus as Newton Geiszler and Hermann Gottlieb! Also featuring some special guests *winkwonk* Check it out on Friday of AB at 6pm (take a peek in the convention booklet for the location because I will be honest and say I don’t remember what room it’s in).
