Yup if you are in the state of Washington and get matched with a girl named “Betty” (pics to come) be on the alert she is a scammer and will do the typical get to know you emails then ask you for money.  The email address “she” used was [email protected]. “She” got tricky and provided me with a local number that I didn’t use to give her the appearance of being legit.  so if you get this number(253) 244-6737 at least at the time of posting, it’s a fake. In my time online dating I’ve only encountered this a time or two but want to make the information public for you all. Photos of this “person” next.

If you are paying for a dating site, you have taken some time to fill out your profile please put your first name. Using an initial indicates that you aren't terribly serious about online dating. If you go up to a girl of a guy and you ask them their name and say Q or Z or F, what are you going to think? Same rules applies to online dating. Online dating pet peeves

OK one complaint I have is if you are on online dating sites post at least one picture of yourself. I refuse to engage anyone who's profile lacks a photo and/or the profile is so basic it's filled with all of 5 words. It tells me you aren't really serious so I won't seriously consider you.

Breakups

Most romantic relationships end. It's true. No one wants to say it, but they do. Not ALL, but most. Think about it. People are looking for one person in a sea of millions of people. it's OK and inevitably it's going to happen. It's also OK to go through periods where you want to be alone and periods where you miss an ex. Depending on how the breakup happened maybe you choose to keep in touch. I error on the side not communicating with my ex's. Why? Partially pride for sure. Ego? Sure. I'll admit it, but mostly I don't like feeling vulnerable around people whom i have been and have hurt me. But when I miss my ex I don't pick up my phone to text or call. Don't go to my computer to let them know. Rather I swallow it and I focus on the future. There's no right answer how to handle it, but sometimes it's important to leave the past where it is.

First Dates

On a first date my theory is there are so many intangibles, will there be good chemistry and rapport. Will you be witty enough, did you dress right, is your shoes polished, etc. I always like to control certain parts of the date meaning where we go. i usually like to pick places I've been because I know even if the date bombs, I'll at least have a good meal. Now that's not me being pessimistic but quite the opposite. When you pick a restaurant you've been and like the environment you know that is one less thing to worry about.
