"Really? Oh thats amazing " She smiled. A laughter erupted from Betty when Belly said to blame her. "I wont let you go down alone but thank you." She exhaled a breath of relief. "Its nice to meet you and honestly... I could really use some company." She felt her shoulders untigthen from the stress she had been holding in back in riverdale most people kept to themselves especially with everything that had happened. "Its a deal." She picked up part of the kayak. "I think i still have some headband flashlights in my jacket in case we need them."

Depa had been editing a drawing on her tablet, the image of her young padawan. She tried to keep the image as neutral as she could, to best give her the chance of finding out any information on him. Grace was working, more like gossiping with the regulars that came to the diner. She refilled their coffees if needed, but it was quiet since the breakfast rush ended. The blonde listened to one of the older gentlemen talking about his grandson before dark hues flickered towards the door when the bell rang. Grace moved from behind the bar area and made her way to the front with a smile. "Hello, and welcome to Bobs Diner. You can sit where you like, the menus are at the tables, and I'll be right with you." She gestured them towards the booths, before also gesturing towards the bar. "Or you can sit at the bar, and I can start you off with a coffee?"

Betty walked in smiling for the first time since she arrived. This place reminded her slightly of Pops and she felt a tug at her heart. "Thank you. Its my first time here I appreciate it. A coffee sounds great actually thank you.. and do you by chance have any ice cream?" Truthfully she wasnt even sure she could will enough of an appetite to even finish but it was something and maybe if she stayed long enough maybe shed see someone. anyone from home.

Betty sighed and spun around having gone in near another circle. She crinkled her nose frowning when she smelt burnt popcorn and felt almost a small smile cross her face. It was a drive in. Enid really had no idea what happened. One moment, she was walking along the beach, enjoying her day. And the next, she was laying flat on her back, having sand everywhere in her face. And yes, maybe it had been her own fault. Partly. Enid had been with her head in the clouds, and maybe not paying as much attention as needed to her surroundings for a moment or two.
