“Hidden Agendas” is on display at the Bakersfield Museum of Art in the exhibit Color + Abstraction: Select Works From BMoA’s Permanent Collection, January 26, 2023, to April 8, 2023.
I did this painting in 1997, and it was purchased by the BMoA from the annual summer arts festival exhibit.

In spring 2022, my colleagues in the Bakersfield College Art Department nominated me for the Norman Levan Faculty Colloquium, and I was chosen for fall 2022. Two professors are chosen each year to make presentations: one in the fall, one in the spring. The colloquium also includes a plaque and stipend. During my talk on October 7, 2022, I discussed the origin of new ideas, showed images of my current creative endeavors, and touched on the environmental effects of citrus growing worldwide. It was a satisfying event to end my teaching career.
