"Finch was the one arguing with the bartender right? He seems spirited" Austin laughed before sighing "Leo wants to help you all but he can't go back. All I know is he said he would only hurt you more if he went back because your parents threatened him. Just know he truly has all of you in mind in everything he does. Kayce also told me Leo said he found someone here but didnt tell me who" Austin shrugged.
Austin smiled and caressed Thorn's cheek before leaning in and kissing him deeply. Austin made sure to pour all of his devotion into the kiss to make it a memorable one for his soulmate the way their first kiss should have been.
"My dad is pretty handy with plants. It's his gift" Austin smiled before humming "I like all of those things as well but I also like music and singing. I sometimes sing karaoke on the weekend with Kayce and his sister. I like to cook, my dad teaches me since he's a chef. I also like cats and kids"
"Wouldn't surprise me if he was. It wouldn't be a party without Finch getting us all kicked out." Thorn said heaving a sigh. "Hopefully he won't tonight. Because I'd like to talk to you a little longer." He said with a little pink in his cheeks.
"Oh...I know. Leo is the eldest. He was always trying to take care of us. He's Kye's role model. Which is strange because he's closer to Finch. I wouldn't want Leo to die like Rami did." He fell silent then, his eyes starting to brim with tears. "I don't know why my family is like this. I wish we could all be happy together. Like families in the movies I watch."
Thorn gasped into the kiss. His arms winding around Austin's neck, pulling him closer. He had zero experience with kisses. But this one made him really want to. So he tried. Wanting to be a good kisser for Austin. By the time they broke apart, Thorn's lips were tingling and he'd grown even pinker. "Wow..." He breathed before beaming at the older fae. "We should definitely do that again. Even if you taste like seaweed."
"I like music!" He chirped. "Finch says it's lame but I love the romantic ballads Cyprien plays for me!" Thorn pressed his lips together before poking Austin in the arm. "Does he cook with seaweed too?"
"I think he left with Gabriel. He's the Lee Moons' uncle. Don't worry Gabriel will take care of him. He's cool guy and has a lot of patience. If you've ever met his son Charlie you'd know just how patient he is. Charlie keeps him on his toes with his fascination with sleeping with vampires and dangerous men" Austin laughed.
"Rami was your other older brother? I think Leo spoke of him once, he died in childbirth, right? I'm sorry you lost your elder brother. Loss is a horrible feeling" he says reaching up to wipe the stray tears that rolled down Thorn's cheek. "You can't choose the family you are born into, but you can choose to make your own path and not repeat history."
Austin rested his forehead against Thorn's when they pulled apart and smiled as he caressed his cheek. "Oh I definitely want to do more of that. You taste amazing. And you're actually not a bad kisser for someone who has never done it. I think your kisses are my favorite" he says pecking his lips. "I'll make sure not to eat seaweed next time" Austin laughs.
"Oh ballads are my favorite to sing" Austin smiles before humming "Sometimes, especially with Asian food since a lot of Asian food uses seaweed. He cooks a little bit of everything actually. He has studied all over the world since we left Faerie after my mom died."
