David Duchovny: There was a long time working on the show where we were just not even dealing with one another off camera, and there was a lot of tension, which didn’t, didn’t matter, apparently, for the work, because we’re both fucking crazy, I guess that we could, we could just go out there and do what we needed to do.

Gillian Anderson: Yeah, that is kind of crazy.

David: It’s nuts, but, but we were so busy, and it was like…

Gillian: I mean, it’s crazy that we were able to present on camera that, you know, the various feelings and emotions and attraction and all that kind of stuff, but then not speak to each other for weeks at a time or whatever.

David: It’s very odd.

Gillian: Isn’t it?

David: But in a way, maybe it was smart, I don’t know, because we’re, like, saving it up.

I stumbled upon the deleted fight the future kiss in my files and couldn't resist the urge to try my usual editing tricks on it. Yet another scene (and not even a canon one!!) that fell victim to Chris Carter and his hatred of good lighting. Now we can finally observe the exact amount of tongue that was used.

Lastly, a little before/after comparison. Most scenes are so much darker than one tends to remember, and this is probably the best lit one I've done so far.
