“Did you like talking to him?” Ben asked, hoping the two got along and maybe Abraham would visit more. “Lucky you, you’re the only person who gets to see those things.” He said softly, laughing quietly. Cj saw him smile and laugh sometimes but not as much as David did. His dad did too, but he wasn’t around him enough to see it.

“We didn’t talk too much, but it was nice to meet him.” He shrugged, not remembering much of the conversation at all as it mostly was just idle chat. “Good, I like that.” He enjoyed being the only one who got to see the brighter side of Ben.

“Yes, it is. I know it’s hypocritical, but god damn, don’t yell.” He sighed, shaking his head. “But there are a lot really good things about you, sweety.”

"I know, baby boy. I can't either." He sighed, digging his nails into the boy's skin very lightly. "I'm glad you got to see him. He was so happy to see you..it was sweet." He wished his visit with his mother could have been like that. "Your eyes are stunning and your laugh is contagious and your smile lights up everything about you."

Ben giggled softly, enjoying the kiss and the little hug and just how soft and kind David sounded. It was nice, knowing he was the only person who got to see David like this. The softness was just for him and no one else. “Good.” He said with a little laugh, “if you didn’t I’d be very very upset.”

Hearing his giggle, he beamed. As much as he couldn’t feel love, he liked the sound of Ben laughing and seeing him smile. It was beautiful and it gave him some satisfaction. “Why would I possibly not love being with you? You’re a delight. The yelling isn’t ideal, but no one is perfect.”

“I like that it’s different.” He said softly, kissing David’s cheek. “I like being with you a lot you know…I know sometimes I’m not the most positive or whatever but I do really enjoy being with you.” He said softly, knowing sometimes he could come off like he didn’t want to be with David.

“I like that it’s different too, Benny.” He hummed, reciprocating the kiss, squeezing him softly. It wasn’t really different “I’m glad you like being with me because I love being with you.” David cooed, laughing quietly

“They we’re kinda irritated but not angry. If anything happens they’ll get angry but I doubt anything will happen.” He smiled at David, reaching up to rub his thumb on David’s cheek. “I don’t know what made you be so different this time around but I’m glad you changed…I like this you. I liked you before too but..you’re better now.”

“There will be lots of people who will be angry, I imagine. I don’t really mind, honestly. Nothing will happen anyway.” He shrugged, smiling brightly at Ben “..It doesn’t matter what made it different this time around. It’s just different.”

“Yeah I guess they’re just not mad because I’ve been talking about you for weeks..and they didn’t know it was you. So I guess they know that you really do make me happy now…”

“Maybe. But it’s still me, I assumed they’d still be pissed. I’m glad that they’re seeing that. I mean, I don’t care what they say, but it’s nice to know that there won’t be many issues.”

“It is quite soft. I love it.” Ben said with a little laugh. Then he nodded a bit, “not exactly mad but they weren’t pleased. I told them I’m happy and I’m doing better and they said they can’t stop up from being together.”

"Glad to hear it, sugar." He smiled. David prided himself on that at least. He didn't really have a lot about him that was soft."oh, really? I thought they would have been mad. I'm glad they're not. If they tried there would he repercussions."

David chuckled softly and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek “Really? I’m glad to hear that. They’re rough as hell, but I’m glad you like them.”

“Everything about you is rough..” Ben said softly, leaning into the soft kisses and David’s hands. “I had to go to therapy today. I told them about us too..” Ben had been slowly telling his therapist about David before without saying who he was or talking about their past relationship.

"That's not true. I have very soft hair. Well, as soft as it can be while in here. Usually it's very soft." He laughed softly. David frowned. "Oh..did they get mad?"

David chuckled softly and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek "Really? I'm glad to hear that. They're rough as hell, but I'm glad you like them."

“I’ll figure stuff out with CJ…maybe some other people who don’t think I’m completely shitty will want to be my friend.” He said with a small shrug, laying against David with a sigh.

"Yeah, maybe he'll be less of an ass about it. There are people who won't think you're shitty. You'll get some friends." He encouraged, beginning to play with his hair.

“You need more people than me. I can’t always be around and such. So you’ve got to have some other form of entertainment.”

“Nah I’ll be fine…I’ll figure it out.” Ben said with a shrug. David was right, he did need to do more than just sit around and wait for David to have time for him but he had no one else to spend time with. No one liked him.

"Whatever you say, sugar. But you do need someone to keep you company and happy when I'm not here." He cooed, pressing a small kiss to his shoulder.

"You need more people than me. I can't always be around and such. So you've got to have some other form of entertainment."

Ben laughed softly, “nobody likes me…not anymore.” He said with a little shrug. “Cj won’t talk to me anymore now that I’ve told him. Nobody else is my friend I ruined all my other friendships. It’s not surprise it’s what I always do…I don’t need any of them though. I have you.” He smiled at David, even though his words made his heart heavy and sad but it was true. He had no one now, no one but David.

"Well Cj can go fuck himself. If he's gonna be a puss baby then he doesn't reserve to be around you in the first place." David murmured, shaking his head. "You can make new friends. The friends you had before we're the worst."
