May I highly recommend that you see #guidinglight playing at their new weekly 5PM Saturday residency @petescandystore I can't recommend their beautiful soundscapes highly enough, in a word it's "quality entertainment" you may even get a song dedication. The rare mono mix of “Tomorrow Never Knows” sounds even crazier than the common version heard as the final track on Revolver. Producer George Martin made a last minute call to replace this mix (mono re-mix #11) with an earlier mix (mono re-mix #8) for the mono edition of the album. However, during only the first day of UK pressing, a small few had already been manufactured before he ordered the change. All but these first few British mono first pressings of Revolver contained the earlier and now common re-mix # 8. The standard mono and stereo mixes of this track are quite similar to each other, however this mix has a louder vocal track by John, heard more clearly over the effects. The fade-out is also slightly longer on this version and there is some piano heard in the fade-out that is not apparent on the common versions. The effects are also faded up differently.
