Day 11
On the road again! Jk i have a flat tire and Im waiting at the shop to get it fixed.
Day 10
Our truck has returned! We took it for a spin around town and everything seems to be in working order, though the tire pressure seems a bit low. We should be heading out for Del Rio tomorrow morning.
Oh, and we saw a baby scorpion
Day 9: The Great Outdoors
Day 2
Well the diagnosis on the truck was disappointing but if we’re lucky we’ll be able to get it all fixed up by early next week. On the bright side we did get to see this little guy stroll past our camp site.
We also had the pleasure of enduring a nice thunderstorm along with some tornado warnings which was a nice way to cap off the day.
Also, my son was inspired by my blog post yesterday and decided to keep his own journal . Here is his first entry
Day 1
We have arrived in Three Rivers, Texas safe but not quite sound. Unfortunately our truck took a turn for the worse towards the end of our drive today and we limped into the park. Hopefully a local mechanic will be able to help us tomorrow morning.
The park owner and our neighbors have been very friendly and kind, even taking us into town for a burger. The park has a small play area which the kids have been enjoying and we were fortunate enough to see a horned lizard running across the road.
Best of all, the internet connection is very good here! We have a strong LTE signal from t-mobile and the park wifi seems pretty fast as well (we’re parked right under the AP)
