“Believe me, there’s been a lot going on. A bit more than I’d like, but I reckon these would be deemed somewhat normal problems rather than supernatural problems.” Hayley replied with a roll of her eyes, a sigh escaping her lips as she lead the other brunette into the living room. Her slender frame plopped down in the recliner, another sigh escaping her lips as she offered the other a faint smile. “I’m happy to have your company and the beer. And I appreciate the skipping the ‘how are you’ because it’s been asked quite a lot lately. In all honesty though, I feel like I’m losing my mind and am hanging on by a thread at this point.”
“I wish problems just were normal problems.” Since her’s were supernatural with her son she knew something would always come up, but she had come over for an escape for both of them, as she moved to sit on the woman’s couch. “I figured, I’m sure my husband has even aided in that, he means well.” Davina shrugged. “I know the feeling, hence the beer, and if I could remember the advice you gave me once clearly I’d say it back to you, choker scarf or not.” Davina smiled a little bit.
averageavery:
Brennan was overwhelmed with all the senses he was going on. “Shut up, shut up,” He murmured, rubbing his temples. “I said shut up!” He exclaimed, accidentally flinging the person into the wall.
Davina watched the boy fling a person across the store. “Hey, Brennan, calm down a little.” She tried to soothe him for a moment, she knew accidents happened but she didn’t want to see anyone else get flung around.
jaggervanchure:
Letting the body go, he watched it fall to the ground with a now snapped neck before looking to Davina, “Yeah, it’s no problem. You going to get home okay? Or do I have to worry about other assholes or that husband of yours.”
“I’ll get home just fine Jagger.” She could take care of herself afterall. “I am pretty sure we took care of the only asshole out there tonight or well dumb enough to cross me. But no you don’t have to worry about Kol.”
ovkolmikaelson:
“Oh trust me I know.” Kol lightly laughed this time, feeling like she already was a nightmare from the dreams he had, though it was his own fault in the first place, he tried not to let it change his mood. Kol laughed raising a brow, “Well.. we can always figure out how to keep you forever young, and travel the world together when we’re set free.” He hummed, sitting back himself with their food and drinks being set before them, first taking a sip.
“You just want a trophy wife keeping me forever young.” She shot back at him, as she took a sip of her drink before taking a bite of her food. “Set free, I don’t even remember the last time I thought about getting out of this town.” It was easier for her to just not think about the outside world due to the fact they had been stuck.
ovkolmikaelson:
As much as it did did amuse Kol how she said she’d bring him back only to kill him herself, it did bring up memories of him killing her, though he didn’t need her speaking about it to remind him as it was on his thoughts every day and even in his sleep. “Best watch myself now even more.” He chuckled with a soft smile. The sheer thought of her dead or even him terrified him. “There would be no point. It’s you and I forever. Only good thing about being here is that they’re keeping you humans, witches and all you non-vampires alive with us so we can share our lives with you.” It was something he was grateful for, but it was still a pain they couldn’t stray too far from the town.
“You better, I can be a nightmare love.” She teased him but at the same time, she knew she’d cave to his charm. “It’d still be nice to get out of town every now and then but I suppose being stuck with you isn’t so bad.” She said playfully, sitting back a little bit when their drinks and plates were set in front of them.
ovkolmikaelson:
“I guess so.” He smiled looking forward to their new found date nights. It was nice to be able to plan and be surprised time to time. He knew one night they would just grab a cup of coffee and talk, just to be alone and together. Kol nodded his head toward Davina, knowing his job was unsafe, especially for his kind. “I promise I will darling, I can get in and out in no time without catching fire. You would think I’d hate the job I have being a vampire, but it’s no way to die by the flames.”
Davina knew they needed this with how crazy things had seemed to get with their family. “Hey, you won’t die by the flames. Because I’d resurrect your ass just to kill you myself so you’d die by a very angry wife.” She teased instead as she smiled. “Besides, what’s the point of aging slowly if I can’t spend it with you?”
ovkolmikaelson:
Raising up a brow, he looked to Davina, “Well now I can’t wait to find out.” He spoke, adjusting how he said leaning against the table. He ordered himself some food and a drink when the waitress came, waiting for Davina to do so as well, “I feel as though I should come up with some ideas as well now.”
“Guess you will find out next week love.” Davina didn’t mind planning dates sometimes she was sure there were a bunch of things that they could still find to do. Davina ordered a drink and some food for herself, thanking the waitress softly before she looked over at Kol. “Nothing too extreme okay? You may go running into burning buildings but I am not sure that’s my speed.”
ovkolmikaelson:
“You could say that again. Love really changes a person.” Though with that love it also meant you would do anything to save the one you love, even if it put you at risk. “I would do Thursday, they normally like to keep me late Friday’s to run everything for the weekend.”
“In this case I think love for us was a good thing.” Loving Kol taught her to grow up a bit she wasn’t the nineteen year old witch he first met anymore. “Thursday it is then. I have a few ideas on what we could do. But I think for now I’ll keep you in suspense.”
ovkolmikaelson:
“You are the reason I feel human.” It was true, he felt human or more human emotion wise ever since she came into his life. “Weekly it is. Name a day every week and I will be sure I’m off early enough or not working so we can have them.” He smiled, his thumb rubbing along the back of her hand.
“Love does funny things huh?” She asked her husband but she wouldn’t change it for the world. “Why don’t we just take thursday or friday? Either day, whatever works for you? I know I am usually home by six at the latest from the bookshop.” Davina explained as she just enjoyed being out with Kol.
ovkolmikaelson:
“To start with I could watch you every second of everyday because of his passionate you are about things. You put your heart and soul into what you believe in. You are my heart that keeps mine beating everyday. You yourself are the reason that I don’t regret being alive again.” He whispered in her direction, his hand moving across the table to hold hers. “We need to make this a monthly thing, or even weekly.”
“I am happy I could be a reason that you are enjoying being alive again.” Davina wouldn’t of given the life she had made with Kol up for anything. “Weekly date nights? I think the kids are old enough now where we can take a night a week. Even if we just go out for a drink, it doesn’t have to be a fancy date like tonight.” Davina gave his hand a light squeeze.
ovkolmikaelson:
“You are. You are the light of my day.” He smiled looking to her with nothing but love in his eyes. He leaned toward her as she did, giving her a kiss back, smiling at the feel of her lips, “You’re welcome darling. I know it’s been a tough few days or even weeks.”
“What else am I too you? Other than the light of your day?” Davina flirted a bit, she loved hearing the sweet things Kol could come out with time to time. “That’s an understatement. I am just excited to be out with you, and not have to focus on anything but my handsome husband for a little while.”
if you could travel anywhere where would you go?
“Could I say anywhere else but here? But if I had to pick one place, I’d love to see San Francisco again.”

Upon hearing the familiar voice of her sister-in-law, Hayley quickly cleaned up the empty blood bags that she had just drained before vamping upstairs to brush her teeth. A few moments later, she was in the foyer of her home and opened the door for the younger brunette. “Long time, no see.” She mused warmly with a hint of a smile on her features, stepping aside to allow Davina into her home before closing the door once they were both inside.
“Sorry, lots been going on. Pretty sure you’ve been in the same boat. Hence my offer of beer and some adult female company.” Davina told Hayley, she stepped into the house and looked over at her friend and sister in law. “I’m going to skip the whole how are you? Figure Elijah and Klaus have been asking that non-stop.” Davina hoped if she wasn’t okay then she’d tell her but she wasn’t going to bring it up.
Davina needed some time away from the boys, she knew Hayley had been apart of the games and all that the sirens had played so she figured she’d go over and be someone who wasn’t overbearing like the boys were probably being. She walked up the steps to her house and knocked on the door. “I got beer, and no men in sight if you want to talk or I don’t know just drink in the company of someone not filled with testosterone.” Davina called out knowing the hybrid would be able to hear her.

ovkolmikaelson:
“I do, and I get to spend it with the most incredible woman I know.” He hummed to her. Getting out of the car, he spoke before heading toward the door and grabbing a both, “At least you’re halfway done.” He stated, sitting and leaning onto the table to admire his wife.
“I better be the most incredible.” She said through a bit of a laugh as she walked in with him. “Yes, I’ll be glad when its all done for another month.” She leaned over the table and gave her husband a quick kiss. “Thank you for tonight, the flowers and taking me out.”
