This week has been an interesting one. I've been trying to outline a new novel but for some reason, my heart just isn't in it. I've been reading old novellas I wrote when I was younger and honestly, they're far more interesting. It feels like I've lost that true spark of passion and enjoyment I used to get from writing for myself.

If you’ve ever watched the Harry Potter films, then you’re probably familiar with the ghostly character of Moaning Myrtle, who often ogles Harry as he ages and levitates while discussing her morbid fascinations.
