i am such a sucker for cass being jealous of timsteph…

cass loves tim, he’s her brother! she would protect him with her life, she would take a bullet for him with no hesitation! but… she can’t help but hate him a little bit every time she watches him kiss steph. every peck on the cheek feels like a punch to the gut…

it starts to drive her insane sometimes because can’t steph see that they’re terrible together? they fight all the time, tim disregards stephs feelings, dismisses her ideas in the field and steph never trusts tim! she accuses him of lying to her all the time they even fight in the field! it could get them BOTH killed!!! so why are they still together? why do they repeat the cycle of fighting, breaking up, apologising, getting back together non stop???

cass and steph fight sometimes sure, best friends who also work together in a very high stakes high stress job are bound to fight but they never fight like tim and steph do. she would treat steph so much better than her brother she already does!

one of the many crimes of batman and robin eternal and the reintroduction of cass is her dynamic with tim. post crisis tim was intimidated by cass! she freaked him out. she didn’t really talk. she was beyond skilled in fighting. she was raised to be an assassin yet she’s a hero. he feels weird being around her because he had such a normal life in comparison to her. he even tells her that she kind of scares him. but the first time tim and cass interact in the reboot is tim almost pitying her. “oh sweet cass, she’s got the mentality of a child. does she want candy?” like it’s BEYOND gross and i need to kill it.
