Maybe this time we shouldn’t have meddled.
The Scooby-Doo Project (1999)
Gothic Revival made into a Fairy Tale.
I’ve never seen a Goth house all in white. Notice the church pews and what appears to be some sort of upholstered prayer bench.
It looks like they have lots of vintage church salvage pieces that they painted white.
The kitchen is beautiful.
What a nice big bathroom and so lovely.
A sitting room on the 2nd level that opens out to a terrace.
Master bedroom.
2nd beautiful bath.
This is cool- 2 small porch swings.
Story book playroom.
Even a babbling brook outside. What a dreamy house.

“I think there is a certain age, for women, when you become fearless. It may be a different age for every woman, I don’t know. It’s not that you stop fearing things: I’m still afraid of heights, for example. Or rather, of falling — heights aren’t the problem. But you stop fearing life itself. It’s when you become fearless in that way that you decide to live. Perhaps it’s when you come to the realization that the point of life isn’t to be rich, or secure, or even to be loved — to be any of the things that people usually think is the point. The point of life is to live as deeply as possible, to experience fully. And that can be done in so many ways.”
— Theodora Goss (via jenmyers)
I personally think after you reach that certain age, you’ve come to the realization (finally) you’ve had nothing else to lose+the who really cares anyway attitude!
Thinking about my first apartment in Portland. Text at top right reads, “I moved in during the golden hours.”
The perfect room.
I think we need to talk about the under appreciated Window Seat fandom
I mean really? With the book shelves?
It’s like an alcove of happiness.
You want a whole row of individual seats? Fine, here you go.
Or how about a whole window bed for those snugglers out there.
Curtains.. Guys this one has curtains.
Seriously? This is basically a glass cube of bliss.
You can even get them with corners! Not enough corners? Okay.
Ba-BAM!! Corners for cocooning.
There’s also the Roman-esque themed seat for the historians out there.
If you don’t want to snuggle up in blankets with hot cocoa in this then I don’t even know why you’re on this planet. I mean dat stonework.
This one’s an entire rectangle. Just imagine all the cuddling that could happen in there. It’s practically a fortress.
This one’s fucking curved okay? it’s just chillin, up of the ground, and curved for your lounging convenience.
don’t like rectangles or square? Okay. Have a fucking trapezoid seat.
OH MY GOD this just reminded me how as a little kid I was full on obsessed with having a window seat. It was all I’d talk about for a while. I must have seen on in some 90s tv show bedrooms. I tried to construct some boxes covered in a blanket in front of my sad, small normal bedroom window 🙄 and as you’d imagine it didn’t work at all.

Haunted places from the SCOOBY-DOO series.
there’s not a person in this world who hasn’t embarrassed themselves or hurt someone or made a mistake. learn and grow from these things, rectify them if you can, but don’t dwell on them. we are all human; we are all imperfect.
