Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.Still, my craft is to express emotion and action through words. From love to hate, peace to violence. I know full well the emotions that my lyrics will strike up when I write them and make no apologies for any of it. For every song meant to evoke anger and rage, I have one that evokes love and harmony . Our collection of songs is balanced, and if someone wants to judge that work off the use of one word that was not at all used to degrade homosexuality, that's their given right. I'm comfortable in my own skin and will continue to write what I wish fearlessly. I can speak to every word I've written. I can break down every verse I've ever designed. I don't say things just to say them. This is my art form. This is how I express myself. I don't bind myself to one mind state, as that is not natural. I explore the depths of every single thing I feel. People will react. That's the point. Maybe, just maybe, people should challenge themselves to go deeper.

This is music. This is art. If an artist paints a portrait of a woman being violated by a demon, he would be judged on his work and no one would question his character. "Y'all Ain't Ready" is a song channeling the demons I keep within. It's a dark part of me that I very much struggle with to this day.
