Dazy chain dolls

I also have an affection for mixed media so try to work interesting bits and pieces into my work where I can.This is a hobby that I have indulged in for the last fourteen years. I used to think of fabric as a beast to be tamed, but things have improved somewhat. Fourteen years on if I can draw it I can probably work out how to make it. this is a 4 year olds picture I have stenciled, I have had it sitting on a shelf for years but I felt this one must be done. the moon was done at a later age.

Op shop shopping, sometimes you see something ya just can’t resist. Reminds me of tin tin’s dog. Then I saw an archie magazine, haven’t seen one of those for a while.

get more than two of something and it starts to be a collection, never thought of collecting thimbles but there seems to be some interesting ones around, the finger one looks weird on and the red one shines the light out the top.

this looks a little like Frida Kahlo as a child perhaps before the mono brow, don’t know if she played the uke though. The head is about four inches wide.
