🥀 - How would you handle the death of Luda Mae?

I’m sorry to say, but the Bubba I based mine off is the first movie (1974)... Luda May is from the 2003 remake. In a lot of people’s’ opinions, Thomas Hewitt and Bubba Sawyer are the same person. However, in my own opinion, they are both two different people who just happened to be in very similar situations but different families.

Not that Bubba probably didn’t know her, but it was unlikely. At most maybe he knew her as a neighbour from his childhood or from Thomas himself, as Thomas would’ve been an adult by the time my Bubba was born. Thomas could have been a helping hand around the Sawyer place, as my own headcanon is that the Sawyer family has a small beef farm to die down the suspicion on where their food source comes from and how Drayton gets his meat for his store.

But if he did know her and were to hear that Luda May died, he would be rather upset still. Even people he isn’t all too close with he becomes distraught over the very thought of losing, and especially someone from his past life he would be upset over losing. He wouldn’t show it to other people, as he still kind of is hesitant to even show that he knew her, but he would be distraught about it nonetheless.

What are your opinions of the Deathslinger?

“Well... I ain’t seen him a whole lot, jus’ kinda watch him from a distance. It’s neat, I’ve heard stories of cowboys an’ such all m’life an’ there’s one just.. livin’ among us. Although he don’t seem t’be very approachable, at least th’ones I’ve seen... Only thing that makes me nervous is his gun. It hurts like hell t’be shot by, an’... just any gun is bad. I learned that awhile ago.”

(Yeah no, I haven’t had any Caleb interact with him yet but I really want to! It’s just Bubba is super nervous bc of the gun... for reasons)

"Huh, well I never thought about it like that... What makes me different- oh right, everything! Well, a lot..." The bigger man shrugged and crossed his arms. "Comparing me to that brute is like comparing a scalpel to a meat cleaver." He huffed and shakes his head. "I didnt get put with that... Dr Loomis or whatever. I was sent to a different doctor who put me in a institution, a Lery's Institution. After that was shut down I was sent to a school for troubled kids and from there I went into the military after serving my time. I sent all my money to my poor mother... No clue what happened to my dad.." He grumbled and shifted his feet, uncomfortable to be speaking about his past but needing to separate himself from this 'Shape'. This man is wearing a Jean shirt tucked into his darker jeans, sleeves rolled up.

Liam is a very good person, but Bubba doesn’t know him a whole awful lot. He’s very handsome in his opinion, sure, and he’d more than likely still like him in a romantic sense... with time given. He’s very untrusting and usually takes a long time to gain any trust, but doesn’t mean he won’t be crushing on anyone he doesn’t trust..

I’m not gonna lie, Bubba really does like this Ghostface! Hell he’s interested in him for certain, though sexual? Not really. But he also just doesn’t usually feel that kind of attraction to people. But Danny has been very friendly, nice, and frankly is very handsome to him. Sooo you bet that he’s crushing hard on him. Not that he’d likely admit it openly, but it would be obvious to tell that he is when around him... He’d only ever admit it if asked by Danny himself.
