Will there be a Bruce Wayne week for 2023?

As of right now, we are uncertain. Our current mods are a bit burnt out and also the sole mods on other fandom events, and we have been unable to find new mods in our Discord servers, so… I’ll put the call out.

We need new mods for Bruce Wayne Week.

The current mods will assist you and let you know what tasks need to be done, but the new mods will be taking on the actual creating of interest surveys, votes, blog posts, checking that event submissions meet criteria, etc.

Requirements for Mods

Must support our ship-friendly, censorship-free, and tagging policies.

Must support and agree with all Rules and FAQ.

Must be 18+.

Must have the time and energy to see the event through.

The more mods, the more the work can be divided.

DM the blog if you are 18+ and willing to serve in this role!

76 Days to GO!!

Just a quick reminder that were is only 76 days until the start of our first BatLantern Weekend!!!

We’re very excited to see how this goes and if we can upgrade to a week next year :)))

This is my first year participating in any events like this is any capacity, so bare with me. I’m just curious about poly ships that involve a Bat/Laturn pairing as well as a third person. (I.e. I’m not the biggest Bruce/Hal fan, but I do like Bruce/Hal/Barry) and whether or not that would qualify for this challenge? The rules didn’t mention either way.

Hello!! That's more than okay! As long as there's a Bat and a Lantern somewhere in the ship then it's completely acceptable!!! You could turn around and do Bruce/Hal/The entirety of the JL if you so desired! There's no real strict rules or limits on anything like that :)

BatLantern Weekend 2023

Hello! So, on a basis of a ‘first year’ event attempt, I wanted to run this as just a three day weekend event... Just to get the ball running and the word spread?

Plus, from a survey held recently, people seemed more inclined towards a weekend event anyway....

And while originally I wanted this to be a BruHal event, I know it would appeal to more people to be BatLantern and so open to other popular Bat/Lantern ships like JayKyle...

So!! That’s that...
