you can and should write your own WoD lore for your town/country and ignore canon by the way, you can do it better than the WoD writers I guarantee you
you have better context and knowledge of history, culture, myth, and politics, I love reading people's versions of their hometowns/countries
can someone explain tremere hate jokes to me like why do we hate the cool blood wizards
The Tremere pissed off a lot of clans in there quest to become vampires. They were originally mages who wanted immortality and thought they could do it by experimenting on vampires, specifically the Tzimisce. A group of like six who became the founders of the Tremere tried a ritual and got turned into vampires, and lost all their real magic as a result. So some vampires donāt even count them as being ārealā since they werenāt embraced they āstoleā vampirism.
They didnāt become any better after turning. They expanded their experiments to include gangrels and nosferatu, creating gargoyles to be troops in their war with the tzimisce. And just to be generally subservient to them.
They also diablerized the antediluvian of the Salubri to get more credibility for their clan. This is part of the whole usurper title they got. And then proceeded to use propaganda to demonize the only clan you could argue was ākindā as the Salubri powers are based around healing and they did that for humans and vampires. This worked because the Ventrue leader at the time wanted to tremeresā access to sorcery. None of the clans really like them but their magic makes them useful.
So often with Tremere theyāll be āwelcomeā in a city/domain because they are useful due to magic and stuff but no one really trusts/like them due to how they got to where they are. But this is all broad strokes vibes obviously.
i'm sure that some vampires have a blood bonding kink even if they don't wanna get into any blood bonds for real. fantasizing about their lover taking advantage of them and forcing vitae down their throat. running their tongue against a nearly closed wound because they get off on the risk. you get me
