Yeah I love BruTalia. I have been and will always be falling for the star crossed lovers on two sides of a war.
Talia in this AU of mine is the Demon Head. She raised a coup and took Ra's place, yeah. But then it will always come down to their differences in ideal and their own goals, and then none of them can stay. Bruce had set the mission in stone, and Talia can never believe in the word "forgive".
But then again, they felt in love, fortunately or not (none of them know the answer to that). Love makes them both come back again, leave again, then come back once more in a never ending circle. And whenever they meet, their whole worlds are completed again.
Black Sun, in analytical psychology, refers to the profound states and the negative experiences that are necessary for the human psyche to grow just as much as their positive and healthy experiences are.
As paradoxical as the term is, Thorin and Taiyou's relationship can be considered unhealthy, with Taiyou's twisted innocence leading him to relay almost completely on Thorin at certain moments and Thorin's needs for Taiyou as an anchor when his constantly bubbling anger issue taking over himself.
Despite the fact that they both can be considered bad influences on each other, Taiyou and Thorin—blinding, silent, and cruel as the sun in their own ways—are codependent, thus one can never truly live without the presence of the other.
Liebesträume (German for Dreams of Love) is a set of three solo piano nocturnes by Franz Liszt published in 1850, as the lieder for two poems—Hohe Liebe (exalted love) and Seliger Tod (blessed death)—by Ludwig Uhland and a poem by Ferdinand Freiligrath named O lieb, so lang du lieben kannst ("Love as long as you can!")
The name is given to the pair of Reverie and Maybelline because their love sounds like a fairy tale, where Reverie waits and waits for Maybelline to reincarnate again and again everytime. Despite the fact that each and every of Maybelline's reincarnations are all unique, Reverie will always find the soul he loves inside them.
Their story has been going on for a very long time, and it will be long continued. However how much time has passed between each reincarnation, Reverie will always love each chapter of Maybelline from its start to its end everytime.
The Robin Mantle in 17verse, or "What in the Ever Loving Fuck, Bruce???" (- Kate Kane, after no-one-even-fucking-know-what-number-th kid her cousin took in, both legally and mentally)
A wall of text, continued under the cut. Please note that the events below come from 17verse a.k.a. DC Universe no.420, a fanmade universe inspired by canon!
It all started with the little Richard John "Dick" Grayson, hot on his heels to find his parents' murderer, started to wear the Robin mask with the oath to be Batman's light in the dark after months of trainings. The boy then soon to grew from the mantle and his mentor's shadow and became an independent hero himself, under the name Nightwing.
The Robin mantle was passed down to Dick's new adoptive brother, Jason Peter "Jay" Todd, until his unfortunate death under the hands of Joker at only 15. He later surprisingly came back as the Red Hood, the crime boss and anti-hero based in Crime Alley. Reconciling with his family was a rocky road, but that's another story to tell in another time.
But before Red Hood came back, the Bat was heavily affected by the death of his son, which led to a little girl named Caroline Keene “Carrie” Kelley following him and placing herself into the mantle. She was then adopted and trained by Batman, but then a mission with Batgirl went wrong and triggered her mentor on his son's death. Carrie then moved to the Clocktower alongside Barbara, now taking the name Oracle, and was given one of Batgirl's old codename Bluebelle and, occasionally, Batgirl.
After the big fight with his first daughter, Bruce came back to be a brutal Batman again, and this time, a boy with a quarter fae blood named Timothy Jackson "Tim" Drake stepped in. Since he failed to convince both Dick and Carrie to take back the mantle, he decided to putting on the mask himself and became one of the best detectives on both sides of the Veil. After Bruce's supposed death, he took on Red Robin and went to find his adoptive father back home. It takes Tim a lot to rediscover himself since then, but the decision to change his codename again to Shrike did mark the beginning of a brand new chapter of his life.
Back when Tim was still Robin, there were a lot of things happened, with the highlights being the coming back of Jason as Red Hood and Tim being grounded from the mantle by his parents, so his best friend Stephanie "Steph" Brown had taken the mantle, temporarily at first. Before that she was Spoiler, a vigilante rose up from her frustration with her abusive father. Tim coming back did not stopped her from being Robin, but in fact turning the mantle over a new leaf. She then went back to be Spoiler, but sometimes share the Robin mantle with Tìm and the Batgirl mantle alongside with Carrie and Cass.
Damian "Dami" al-Ghul Wayne was the next person to take the mantle from Tim's place, forcefully at first. Being the biological child of the Bat himself, he believe that he has the right to Robin. It was Steph that stopped his actions and reminded him about the change of the mantle, the reason behind it and that he would not officially handle it if he lacked someone to be Robin with him. Unfortunately, Bruce's "death" and Dick taking the cowl, plus Tim's surprise leave and having the Robin seat being empty, had Damian putting on the mask sooner than planned. The experience changed the boy significantly, and grew his heart to the better. He also takes on the codename Nightingale on several occasions.
Damian then met Mia "Maps" Mizoguchi at Gotham Academy first, then Robin met the girl underground Gotham, investigating a supernatural related case all by herself. Since then, the girl has unknowningly become one of his best friends, then a frequent ally of Robin, then a Robin herself. As she is still in training, mostly under Damian, Tim, and Barabara, she is becoming a very talented detective and hacker. Mia is also the main coordinator to a group of young heroes names Sotirios, with the codename Compass.
That's it for now, thank you for coming to my TED talk I guess.
