His heart swelled with joy at his words, quickly wrapping his arms around him and nuzzled into his neck. “Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” He pulled away and boldly stole a kiss with a small chuckle. “Oh! I know it’s early but.” He rummaged through his bag and pulled out a small teddy bear and a thing of blood chocolate before handing it to him. “I wanted to get there for you. Happy Valentine’s Day.” He hummed; having used all of his pay check for it but he didn’t mind.
His joy seemed to be infectious as Emmett also smiled, thinking he did like seeing the other happy. Not that he’d have treated him any other way, not him, he was soft and he wanted to keep him that way. “Oh?” He questioned, watching him as he searched the bac he had before pulling out some items. He looked it over as they were handed to him, noting the holiday they represented. “Thank you.” He nodded, reaching over to grab hold of his shirt and pulling him in close enough so he could give him a kiss. He held him close, showing his gratitude by deepening the kiss. “Thank you.” He’d whisper again, in his entire life he’d not had a gift that made him feel this way.

He nuzzled into the kiss and a happy sigh of relief left him. If it was up to him, he’d stay in his bed every night but he was happy to be invited when the vampire wanted. At the last comment, he chewed on the inside of his cheek again. “Well…” he begin. “Can I get a puppy or any animal? It’s just- I’m so lonely when you are at work.”
He thought for a moment on his request, an animal wasn’t something he really had any interest in keeping. However, he thought the same of having a human and here he was. “Yes, but it will be completely your responsibility. If you can’t take care of it then it will not have a home here. Understood?” He stated, knowing that not many were so lenient but he felt he made a compelling case. He was often gone most of the day all week, and leaving him here with a companion seemed fair.

He couldn’t deny that he enjoyed the way the human reacted to being given his own space, with his own things. He’d chuckle softly, patting his head a bit, “You’re welcome.” He’d place a kiss to his forehead, a very surprising show of affection. “I do expect to see you in my bed most nights, but you’ve got your own for when you don’t. And... if there is anything else you might want you can ask, I’ll consider it depending.”

Maybe he should beg Emmett to let him have one; it would keep him company when the vampire wasn’t there. And he did get awfully lonely when his master was at work. The slave blinked at his words as soon as he walked in, slowly taking off his jacket. He went to protest to the other getting him things until he said… his room. Wait? He had a room? “P-pardon?” He whispered. “M-my room?” But he didn’t mind sleeping on the floor. But the generosity of his master made a soft blush cross pale cheeks.
“Apparently it isn’t acceptable to keep you in a closet so...” He said, motioning for him to follow him down the short corridor towards the small room. “Technically it’s supposed to be an office, but I don’t use it.” Which was true, it had a few boxes scattered about, but he cleaned it out and put together the new furniture that was gifted to him. “It’s yours to do as you see fit. Even got you some clothes, kind of had to guess what your sizes were.” He wasn’t used to doing stuff like this for other people, but he figured that Lynden was his he might as well put some money towards making him look nice.

This human was one of those people, despite the others insistence that he didn’t know him. That was a flat out lie, and that wasn’t something he appreciated at all. “I’m not, I remember you very clearly. Maybe you need a reminder?” He stepped closer to them, pushing the both of the further into the dark and isolated alley. He’d be more than happy to remind him of their time together, if he had truly forgotten, and he didn’t care if it happened right out here in the cold. It’d been a while since he had any fun with a human, especially of that sort.

It was a good thing that he wasn’t on duty, but still, he’d let his guard slip which wasn’t good no matter if he was on or off duty. “No, just got off actually.” He answered, arms crossing over his chest as he looked over at her. “I’m not doing anything, so yeah, I’m down to get fucked up.”
