Hey guys, so I’m sorry to say that for the moment, I will be closing requests since I still have a lot on my to-do list and unfortunately, writer’s block has been kicking me in the butt.

I hope to open them back up after I have completed them but for now, I don’t know when that will be. I really hope that it will be soon since it would mean that my requests are clear.

Fated will still be updated every Monday and I will be rolling out finished requests on Wednesdays or Fridays, I haven’t decided yet.

it's okay if you aren't writing right now. it's okay not to be online. it's okay to take breaks. this is a hobby, not a job, and you should spend your time however you want to, not how others may want you to. don't stress yourself over not being around enough; it doesn't matter if you take days, weeks, or even months — it's okay to do things the way it works best for you. and if that means taking longer to reply, then so be it. people are usually far more understanding than we give them credit for.

Fanfiction writers (Scriptor fictus) are intelligent animals who need plenty of enrichment as well as encouragement! If they're stuck in poor conditions (e.g. have studies, work, have to actually write to have something written) then they require the proper enrichment to engage in more healthy behaviours, like writing. Remember, due to poor breeding and socialisation, over half of all fanfic writers suffer from low self confidence and executive dysfunction so take care of them!

Give your fanfic writers proper care. Fanfiction writers are a life long commitment.

I used to be kinda neutral on the whole likes vs reblogs thing but recently it’s started to bother me more and I’m getting where you’re coming from. People are coming in my masterlist and liking fics literally down the line and then leave without a single reblog or a follow. I get its the nature of the platform but like they clearly like my stuff so would it kill them to leave a little support behind

That's the thing anon, is that is isn't the nature of the platform.

Imagine if all the people you follow never reblogged anything.

Your dash would be empty. Nothing.

Tumblr, as it's original concept, was intended as a platform designed for sharing. You had to go seek out people with your interests and follow them precisely because they shared things from creators. Why would you follow a blank blog, or someone that never shared anything?

Things have changed a bit, yeah. We have the 'for you' page full of terrible recommendations, you don't have to go hunting through tags anymore and can just have them on your dash recommending you things passively, but the original concept of a platform built on it's main function being that of sharing works/art/media is still there. If we all stopped reblogging, hell if we all stopped tagging things, we'd never find anything on here. We have to reblog.

So, the Daryl Dixon spin-off trailer was released yesterday and AMC+ on Prime Video released the first 10 minutes of the first episode of the new series. Honestly, I am super excited about this, it reignited my love for TWD and Daryl (not that it really went away) and it actually motivated me to write.

For the first time in months, and I mean MONTHS, I was able to write something (it's the outline of the chapter but still something) for Fated and I'm extremely happy to announce that it is STILL HAPPENING. Fated will finish with all 3 seasons left and...

I will be CONTINUING Fated with Daryl's spin-off as the main driving storyline. Now, I have NO IDEA where that's going to go, obviously because we know nothing about how Daryl got to France or what he's really supposed to be doing there, BUT I will do it. how long will this take me, God knows, but it will happen Seriously though, even when the first trailer came out on YouTube, I already had my own ideas of what the hell to do but as it stands, it's most likely going to go in between Gloria and Daryl's perspectives (take that however you want to *cough* they may be separated *cough*)

Of course, as I write the rest of Fated, I may or may not release some other things like oneshots and miniseries (depending on how long these spurs of inspiration/motivation last) but hopefully I do so you guys can have something to read as I'm working on the rewrites and such.

TL;DR - I'm not dead, Fated Seasons 9 to 11 and Fated 2 (obv working title) will happen and I'm motivated to write so yay!

Just watched the Sneak Peak of the Daryl Dixon spin-off and that somehow actually inspired me to think of some ideas for a Fated spin-off based off of it but instead of it being Daryl, Gloria is the one who got shipped to France and he has to find her.

Yeah I know I have to actually finish Fated first (and I will!) but I do want to know... who would read this spin-off idea if I actually wrote it???
