Y'all really think celebs work 24/7 lol. She's done how many projects in the past few years, she's allowed time off to chill with friends and spend time with her new husband. You people are crazy and completely entitled. And if she wants to quit acting, she's allowed to do that as well. Not everyone does this forever. Make a post about it if you want, but keep it out of the tags. It's a personal post, no need to tell the world.

I have no problem with Dianna's career, her friends, or her love life.Like i said, but apparently you did not understand a damn thing, i don't see the point of having a blog about her anymore. Because yes she works less and this is definitely one of the reason.Also i'm pretty sure i can say the fuck i want. So please don't feel the need to be rude because you don't know anything about me. One of the other reason, and i obviously didn't feel the need to talk about it in my message, is that someone in my life passed away and right now i don't and i can't focused on thing like having a blog.So please think twice before calling people crazy. That's not what i am.Your words can hurt...

Well....

Hi,  After a lot of reflection, I decided to stop this tumblr for a little while. Since 2011 I've try to post and repost news about Dianna as well as pictures but I must admit that the last 2 years have been complicated. I still care about her and her career but I am a little tired by the lack of news and the too many "soon". Since 2 years I have the impression that my blog includes more news and photos of Dianna's friends than her. And this is not what I want. The goal was to post information about her career. About her. Like i said, i still care and I will continue to follow her career but I can not keep waiting and looking for things that do not exist right now. My tumblr will not close at the moment because I do not know what to do with it. I just need to move on and think about something else.  And oddly enough, this is easier than I thought.

Melissa Leo Lived in a Church While Filming Nun Drama ‘Novitiate’

New York City has a talented new resident and what better way to introduce herself to the Big Apple than to debut at Cafe Carlyle. Last night Dianna Agron, the acclaimed singer, dancer and actress did just that and New Yorkers gave her a warm welcome.

As Dianna pointed out during her show, so far in her career, very few people have heard her sing the kind of music she loves best. Consequently she used her Lower register and presented songs typically sung by men. From Dylan and The Doors to The Kinks and The Zombies, Dianna payed tribute to some of the finest male-fronted acts of the ‘70s. By way of the hit TV show Glee, selling more than twelve million albums worldwide and tackling two major tours, she is no stranger to the stage. Welcome to NYC Dianna Agron!

Dianna Agron, making her debut at the Café Carlyle this week, may be the only headliner I’ve seen in a New York club who hasn’t yet been on Broadway but has nevertheless earned the right to call herself a “singer-actress” through her work on television, specifically the long-running, musically-driven series Glee. (Although her stylish black gown and cape seemed a little more like something from Game of Thrones.) Even though she’s new to doing solo shows (accompanied by guitarist Gill Landry) in small-ish rooms like the Carlyle, she already seems to have grasped the single most fundamental idea of what we (at least in New York) call “cabaret,” which is the idea of keeping everything intimate and establishing a direct connection with the crowd. Although she’s shown elsewhere that she can belt when she wants, she wisely sang most of her opening night in a low breathy whisper, like a post-millennial update of Julie London. She also knows that she can reach the crowd more easily with songs everybody knows, and to that end the program is a set of 1960s-centric standards (mostly associated with male performers) - the only significantly older song is “Dream a Little Dream of Me,” and that, as we know, is also a 1960s pop hit. The voice is lovely and the guitar backing matches the mood, making both performers seem suitably vulnerable. Some songs are sung to the audience, like “Bang Bang” and “Harvest Moon,” while others are done with the audience, like “Dance Me to the End of Love” (I never had thought of Leonard Cohen’s music as suitable for a campfire-style sing-along) and “Dream a Little Dream.” Either way, this young woman has a commendable understanding of the medium, and I’m sure this won’t be her last appearance in a major midtown club.
