First of all, the art was fantastic!! The composition and the dinamics from the charachters...Great!
As for the story
The strongest point was the new bond between Sage and Belle and even if they didn't start off at first for the whole "Father" stuff, i found it kinda sweet of they end up being on good terms, with Sage possibly curious to get to know more about her long lost sister
As for the new Villain stuff...
Again, the design is cool ass and seams to be a lot promising, but the fight felt like cut in the middle? Like, a sort of illusion happen and everyone...Is Just fine?? They're... just free to go? Like...what was the attempted kidnapp of Sage for? And expecially Sonic, on whotever he saw...if it's going to be really a previous Villain coming back, how are you so chill Right after that? Yeah he seams to struggle to remember about that but the shift felt so sudden.
Or idkk, maybe this will have a better explanation in the future issues.
If your whole personality is being gay to the point of not being able to engage with stories about women and only scanning media for the most yaoiable white boys you are the problem.
