This drawing is also kind of old and I think I could do a lot better on it now, so hopefully I can get around to that eventually as well as a handful of other dispatch related ideas.

Anyway: Deadlock but Dispatch!

I can’t remember why I started drawing Deadlock’s dots as little lines but in a lot of my recent work they’re tiny lines.

I don’t know how to reply to reblogs with tags and all but I am reading them… I’m very new to using Tumblr.

Deadlock and Veto

I made this before he was released I think, so I didn’t have many references to go off of.

I was really hopeful that he would be more of an interesting character but he’s sort of a nothingburger as of now.

A couple of ideas I had were that he might be the character to act as a bridge between Gekko and Deadlock since he clearly would have some kind of understanding of what Deadlock is going through (though maybe this is more of my hcs than canon) but also the connection with radivores that Gekko would want to understand, so he could befriend them both and bring them together. Another idea was a direct foil of Deadlock (especially with their codenames being kind of interesting in relation to each other).

However, neither of these ideas were explored and instead he just has a voice line digging at her because WOW we really needed another character in the Deadlock hate club.

Kind of a rant post but I could go on and on forever.

Some of Deadlock’s details are messed up because I flipped the drawing near the end and forgot to fix it.

I love to not color drawings. Line art is the best part and also I’m bad at coloring.

Kind of an older drawing at this point, but I need to start adding stuff to this blog.

Anyway, it’s a personal hc of mine that during the bonding process Ursa (the radivore) put part of herself and her DNA into Deadlock. So she kind of still exists in Deadlock’s subconscious.
