genshin fanpol have been told over and over again that "adopted” is a mistranslation, the official facts are that kaeya lived with diluc for a few years and kept his name. they are sworn brothers but they aren't actual brothers. kaeya considers his biological father to be his father and diluc’s father was a good man who treated him well

the way they insist that they are borthers (or "sibling-coded" 😒) to justify harrassment despite the evidence is absurd. and, once again, they are speaking over asian ppl who are trying to explain their culture and they get shot down for being "freaks"

If I may add, as an ADHD person if you insult (even jokingly) something I enjoy, I will no longer enjoy that thing as much. Every time I watch that show you called cringe I remember that you did that. You said the writing was unfunny, so now I don’t laugh at the jokes as much, even alone, and I feel like I shouldn’t enjoy it anymore if it’s bad. (And then I also believe you think I’m unfunny and my sense of humor is just bad) So I have to rationalize “Ok I know this part is awkward but I like it a little sometimes” in my head to justify my enjoyment, and that just makes the whole experience less fun. I’ll never express strong interest in something around you again.

Sharing hyperfixations is a VULNERABLE act of trust, and if it goes badly, we just go right back to being ashamed of being happy.

It’s torturous. Waking up next to Reigen every morning helps but knowing I won’t be able to run my hands through that soft ginger hair or bury my face in his chest is torture. Looking at pictures of him helps too... but every time, his smile pulls me further in. I’ve liked other animated characters before, but never in this way. I need him more than anything. Thinking about him near constantly, wishing he were real. Only on the condition that he wants me and me alone, though.

Parents of children with ADHD/ADD any kind of neurodivergence, your kids are very likely to forget things very fast and would prefer gentle reminders instead of constant scolding/yelling. Please don't tell your child to stop making excuses, and mockingly saying, "oHHH, I fOrGoT." because most of the time we have truly forgotten that you asked us to do something. Don't invalidate your children, please.
