Background: Growing up poor meant James had to struggle with not only feeding himself, but his brother, Jasper. James struggled with keeping himself out of trouble, working any job he could get his hands on. His brother was several years younger than him and always ill with one thing or another.
Jasper went missing when James was 25, so James hitched a ride to no where. He wandered, finally stealing and beginning to drift into a harder life. Drugs, sex, illegal weapons became his life. He never got over his brother’s death, finally over-dosing and slitting his wrists
