RIP G.U.R.U

Keith Edward Elam (July 17, 1961 – April 19, 2010)

GURU was the emcee of Hip Hop group Gangstarr along with Houston native DJ Premier. His name meant Gifted Unlimited Rhymes Universal  i loved this group because they blended so well together and GURU's Jazzmatazz series really setup alor of the Hip Hop jazz influence you would hear through the 90's. i had  the honor of meeting GURU when i was living in London. We had a great conversation he was a very down to earth guy and had alot of wise word for a then very young rapper. 

  anyways this is the second track of the Book Of The Dead called Below The Heavens. enjoi

Big L was one of the dopest rappers of his time. He was apart of the NYC crew D.I.T.C. (Diggin In The Crates) which included Fat Joe when joe  could still rap and Diamond D. He was a big influence on Jay Z and was slated to be sign to Roc A Fella records right before he was killed.Too Bad he was a great. This was one of his freestyles i may post a song later.
