Dean woke up startled, whimpering sounds filling his ears, making him aware of his surroundings and boy, did he needed time to register where he was and when he realized it, he let out a sigh - of relief? He doesn’t really know.

All he knew is that the sounds that flooded his ears were somewhat that of a damsel in distress and he frowned. His hand shot swiftly under his pillow where his gun was resting peacefully - a habit he probably will never be able to shake off. Not after witnessing what’s out in the world and most of them were out to get him and he’d like to get them first.

His fingers found the trigger, the tips curling around it as he cocked it with his thumb and gripped it tight, slowly pulling it out from under. He was still horizontal on the couch, mind dizzy from sleep and the sweet taste of the dream he was swimming in. It was of Y/N, who else would it be. He hadn’t been that close to her for so long and she was now the sole occupant of his mind. And honestly, Dean wouldn’t have wanted it any other way but Dean also knew that there’s probably a special place in hell for him.

A/N: Here’s my entry for the Valentine’s Day Bucket List Challenge @archiveofourown73 . The prompt I chose was “Buy a House” with Dean Winchester. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

"I don't know Dean, maybe we should just give up," you said with a deflated sigh, tossing the brochures advertising different houses onto the floor of the Impala as Dean pulled away from the latest disappointment.

Glancing at you out of the corner of his eye he reached across the seat to take your hand in his. "Hey hey, don't say that. We still have one more to go see today. Maybe we saved the best for last, huh?"

Shrugging your shoulders you nodded and stared out the window, leaning your forehead against the cool glass. You didn't hold out much hope that this last place would be any better than the last, but you didn't argue. There was really nothing wrong with the homes you had already seen, it's just that they were all cookie cutter replicas of each other. Not unique, not homey, and not what you were hoping for. Either you fell asleep or you zoned out because the next thing you knew, you were pulling up in front of a cute one story house that was settled in a charming and cozy neighborhood. Your eyes lit up when you saw it but you wouldn't get your hopes up. 

Once the engine was off Dean was out of the car to open your door and help you out onto the sidewalk. A warm breeze began to blow, tousling your hair and almost pushing you in the direction of the house. Maybe it was a sign. Dean smiled at you, taking your hand and leading you up the well-kept path to the house, and when he opened the door for you and you stepped inside, you knew. 

The entryway was small but pretty, the walls having been painted a sage green color that looked beautiful against the hardwood floor. Releasing Dean's hand you walked through the house greedily drinking in every detail from the shelves that were built into the walls to the number of bedrooms, which was four. As you wandered through the house you came to a door that had steps leading down into what you could only guess was the entertainment room. It was bigger than any of the other rooms in the house and was the only one with carpet in it. Directly across from you was an ample amount of wall space, perfect for Dean's flatscreen, straight in front of which was a wall to wall cabinet perfect for storing anything that an entertainment room could need. Tucked into the corner to your right was a mini bar complete with shelves, a cooler, and three bar stools. 

Arms circled around you from behind as Dean pulled you against him, swaying back and forth gently and lowering his head so that his lips brushed against your ear. "What do you think?" 

You looked down at where his hands rested on the swell of your belly and positioned yours on top of his, feeling content and happy. You had found the perfect home for your budding family. "I think we're home."

Dean was coming home. He had been gone on a hunt up north with Sam for the past week, and even though he called you every day to check in, you still were anxious for him to get back. You missed him and you figured that a special home cooked meal was just what the boys would need when they returned. Taking a swig from the beer in your right hand you flipped the bacon burgers with the spatula in the left, making sure that they were cooked evenly. As the meat hits the pan it sizzles and sends grease splattering up causing you to take a small step back until it settles before you do the same with the other two patties. 

"I don't think I could have come home to a better sight," Dean's voice came from right behind you and you jumped, not having heard him come in.

"Dean, hi! I wasn't expecting you guys to be back for a while. I'm not even done with dinner yet," you said smiling at him over your shoulder as you lift up one of the patties to check the other side to see if it was done.

You felt his hands on your sides followed a moment later by his body pressed up against your back. "I drove fast," he says as he bent down to kiss your cheek before resting his head on your shoulder. "Didn't want to be away any longer than I had to."

A smile lit up your face at his words and you set your beer on the counter so you could squeeze one of the arms he had around you. "Well it certainly got you home faster, but now you're going to have to wait for your food."

He shifted behind you and you felt his lips brush across the back of your neck just before he reached your ear. "Maybe I should make you my dinner," he murmured before dropping his head and lightly nipping at your shoulder.

Desire immediately blossomed in your belly and you couldn't stop yourself from pushing back against him, your hips squirming against the arousal you could already feel in his pants. With a growl, Dean turned you around so that you were facing him with your back up against the countertop next to the stove. "But...the food," you mumbled quietly. Releasing you with one of his arms he reaches over to turn off the burner and remove the food from the heat.

"Taken care of," he says voice deep and husky as he ground against you, hands circling around your wrists and pinning them behind you. Update

Hello everyone. I know I’ve been absent on tumblr lately, and no it’s not because I’ve given up and left this site. I love it and all of you too much to do that willingly. I’ve been gone because I’ve been dealing with real life complications. Without going into too much detail my husband has been dealing with some pretty big mental issues since mid last year and it’s been impacting us financially to the point where we’ve been unable to pay our bills and are potentially facing eviction. 

On top of all that, I lost my best (and only) real life friend. She’s fine, her family is fine, but I’m pretty sure that we aren’t friends anymore and that’s been hitting me really hard as well.

That being said, after I get this posted I’m going to go through my notifications to see what I’ve missed. I’m going to go through all the blogs I follow, see what I’ve missed there, and then I’m going to post something. Probably not the next chapter for Gone, because that’s not anywhere near done yet, but I have some plotless smut that I’m going to try to get posted today.

Gone Part 5

Dean had you up against the motel room door as soon as it was closed, his lips finding yours with a kiss that was filled with urgency. The feel of his muscled frame pressed against you, something you'd never thought you'd feel again, made your knees tremble. Nudging your legs apart Dean slotted his knee between them and you sank down on it, grinding your core against his jean-clad thigh in search of the friction your body craved. 

His groan vibrated against your lips as he pulled back to look at you with lust blown eyes before dropping his gaze to where you were riding his thigh. "Fuck, sweetheart." His hands slid down to your hips to guide your movements, feeling your slick soaking through his pants and your thin shorts.

You felt them trail lightly down your skin, over your neck and across your arm, until they came to rest on your elbow where he flattened his hand and gently tugged you closer. "C'mere."

Scooting close to him you allowed him to pull you into his arms, head on his chest and arm draped across his stomach. This was your spot, a place you never thought you'd be again. 

You were happy.

There was no way of knowing what would happen tomorrow. No way to predict what the future would hold. But right then, in that moment, everything in your world was perfect.
