I think that we got very few glimpses into ‘the real Spencer Reid’ but the ones we did were him being soooo silly and goofy!!! Like I think at his core he’s a prankster and a goofball and he loves a giggle (think the scene where he does a cowboy impression for Garcia, the scene where he shows up in a Frankenstein mask to scare Morgan)!!! He definitely is still a chronic infodumper but I think we (myself included) forget to write him as truly properly himself when fully relaxed because like, imagine if they made a tv show of u and only showed u in ‘work mode’, it wouldn’t really represent u fully. Idk i love fun and happy Spencer Reid I wish he was allowed to have fun more but unfortunately he was to suffer the horrors first. Anyway shoutout to Spencer who cosplays, Spencer who I know damn well has some Lego sets displayed, Spencer who teehees at silly socks in the shop, Spencer who buzzes with excitement at Halloween and Spencer who loves to scare people!!!! My strange silly imaginary friend
