Stopped along the river while driving home from Vermont. The baby splashed in a little cove someone else made.

Vermont for our annual family summer getaway. This year we opted for a secluded mountain house with its own spring-fed pond. Enough space for the 10 of us, private yard for the pups, and easy access for my 8month pregnant sister as well as the brother who had a stroke.

First day here and we've just been hanging in the pond, the baby loves it!

Got a tomato plant for the deck so the baby can pick to her heart's desire since the tomatoes in our garden aren't ready yet.

And the humidity is taking a break so we're hanging in the yard with two black beans.

A little bat on the house today. It was up there for a while, while I was reading my book during babys nap time, I thought it was a wasp nest at first. The video is zoomed in like 20 times, lol. But then it started moving and flew away faster than I was ready for.

...As fricken furious as I am about the recalled game winning Norwegian goal v. England, at least this game has some silver fox looks.

Having "a lot" of followers on tumblr is funny because probably 80% of them are ghost blogs who haven't been on here in like a decade.

It's like, no no, those aren't my followers, that's a graveyard! I'm the caretaker of a thousands of tombs. I love them, but they've been dead for seven years.

The baby saw fireflies for the first time while camping. Uncle Paddy held one for her to see up close. She kept calling it a cute buggy 🥰

Went floating in an ocean inlet yesterday, then out to dinner. Baby even went underwater! Plua she met another little girl over the fence while we were waiting for our food to come, lol

Life lately. Our first zucchini from the garden. Pup sitting Ranger, he likes to be hand-fed, lol. Hangs with Uncles and Auntie for a birthday, including playing the drums & matching buns. So much soccer watching at our fav brewery. Reading to and cuddling Nory <3.

We had a microburst come through our yard out of nowhere. We lost a tree and my favorite Coleman ez-up (right photo) for camping that they don't make anymore 😭😭😭 we had it set up in the yard for baby shade while using the water table and when the microburst came through it got blown right up onto the roof! Then came down again, but destroyed. So lame!!

The whole ordeal only lasted like 1 minute then it was sunny again with no wind. So crazy. Hayes ran outside in the downpour to close our deck umbrella and save it from the wind: he was drenched. Thankfully he saved that in time!
